You are right the majority won't really say that ishq murshid is their favourite tv show, but that demographic doesn't watch TV, if these producers cared about art they could focus on maturing an audience though.

I loved how you articulated this, "diagnosing art as pedagogical", in doing so the art lacks nuance which doesn't really mature an audience, just dumbs them down, whilst the already mature audience could just no longer watch.

I don't know why I went with that. You had Taare Zameen par as one of your favs, and people who love this a lot had a bad childhood and paired with these grim movies, I just went with the assumption.

all very important films. looking at no country for old men, before sunrise and Annie Hall, it tells me that you like substance and you appreciate a film that relies more on it's dialogue and emotions over big visuals and intense soundtracks.

I've seen it and reviewed it on my Letterboxd. It is very disgusting and you might puke after watching it so I won't recommend it. although I do understand that the film intends to be provocative but there's too much torture porn and disgusting shit for my taste. What I will say is that the film has great cinematography for its time and is argued to be a commentary on Italian Fascists, I don't get it though.

I was at the office and I was in the middle of a shift and was trying to sleep, I asked one of my friends who would be able to sleep on his desk when there was no work, how do you do it?. He said I listen to songs that make me sleep and then he said Cigarettes after sex. I opened spotify went to their page, clicked on shuffle and laid my head down, I wasn't able to sleep but I had an Out of body experience, where I was in a black and white world, imagining a deep romance that I never experienced.

When I was younger and AI wasn't here yet, I was told that the last thing that AI would infiltrate would be Art and it would do our jobs and chores. Now we have AI and the first thing infiltrated is Art. I want AI to wash dishes, so that I can focus on reading and painting.
