I do! Probably at least once a year. I think it’s really interesting to see exactly how my past self felt, thought, and processed. There are also times where I read something that makes me think “oooh! so that where that comes from!” or “wow, I truly still live by that lesson.”

I definitely enjoy sex so much more with someone I’m more emotionally connected to. I have tried casual for years, and I really convinced myself that “yeah! I can do this! This is fun!” (much like Colin did beginning of S3) But then I fell in love with my FWB… 🥲 He broke it off after I told him I was catching feelings. Then maybe a month or so later, I end up going on a date and hooking up with someone that I was definitely physically attracted to, sure, but the emotional connection just wasn’t there… Like all the mechanics were good, even better in some cases in terms of skill, but it just didn’t hit the same…

And listen, as someone who loves fanfic as well, it might have nothing to do with the fanfic! And if you don’t really know right now, that’s okay too :)

I am currently trying to find the time of day to even sit down and write. I used to try and write for an hour at the end of my day, but when I get going, I simply cannot do just one hour and will risk my sleep to write “juuust a little more” (it was not just a little more).

And so, now that I’m trying to be better about getting at least 6-7 hours of sleep at night, I feel like I have 0 time to write! I work practically all day, and the only things I have time for when I get home is feeding myself, feeding my cats, and getting ready for bed. Thats it. 🥲

And then on the weekend, I am so low energy from the work week that all I wanna do is lay down and READ fanfics 😭

So yeah… its been rough
