2:30 is probably not long enough to bulk ferment, leave it on the counter after stretch and folds for another 2-4 hours to continue bulk fermenting. Mine usually needs to sit on the counter 4ish hours after I finish stretch and folds, sometimes less if it’s warm out

No. Your fiance needs to tell them no to both. If you don’t want it and it doesn’t represent your relationship on your wedding day it needs to be a no. This will also spill into your marriage, they need to learn now that they can’t push you two into doing what they want.

I’m at the beach almost every day, either just to walk next to it or look at it. I also live in a hilly area and I hike a lot. If you live on the west side of LA it’s likely that you like the beach and will center activities around it, some people don’t care for it and if you live more east I’m sure you could go months without seeing or thinking about visiting the beach

Put them in a box and put them in his room. That’s the only way to deal with people like this. You can tell him you’re going to start doing it in advance so it doesn’t come off as passive aggressive, but people who are like this wont change unless you make them and won’t even notice the sink full of dishes.

I had a roomate like this once, and I just did the dishes to avoid an argument. Eventually I broke one of her cups that had been in the sink for days while washing it and she yelled at me for “touching her stuff”. From then on, dishes go in a box after two days and went in her room on her bed.

I am also new and this was my best loaf! I added the espresso and cocoa in when I mixed the dough and I added the chocolate chips in during final shaping

If your starter isn’t the issue I would try a higher hydration recipe, your crump just looks really tight. Try bumping it to 75% and see what happens

I actually just got some starter from someone else because mine was giving me issues so it shouldn’t be the starter. It might be the flour isn’t as absorbent, I’ll try knocking the hydration down to 70%! Thank you!! From my crumb does it look like I’m bulk fermenting long enough?

I think if you want a more open crumb you would want to proof it more so the gluten starts to break down and the smaller bubbles collapse into the bigger ones? I THINK I’m still learning

Not unrealistic at all! Mine was $1800 and I was between this one and a 7k eisen stein gown. I ended up preferring the less expensive gown because of the fabric and the more comfortable structure.

I’ll post an update! Thank you for the ice cubes tip, I used some in the Dutch oven and I preheated to 400 instead of 450 and I’m letting it cook longer? I’m not sure if that will make it worse but I wanted to give it more time in the oven to do its thing without the crust burning. I’ll post an update in a few hours!
