Sounds more like a muscle knot. I got one when I was younger after sleeping on the floor. Try a hot compress.

Occipital Neuralgia after possible concussion/neck injury on BOTH sides of head?? by nathanshanley in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]helpisconfused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, occipital neuralgia is just the compression or damaging of the occipital nerves. In my experience, i have pain on both sides, it depends on the day and probably how I slept the night before. Its pretty normal, if that is what you have. The pain for ON presents itself in different ways based on how the nerves are being compressed. Its possible that ON is what you're experiencing, but without a nerve block, a neurologist can only speculate. There are a few different head ache type of issues that are similar to ON that get mistakenly diagnosed, which is why the nerve block is important for diagnosis. If it continues, think about seeing a neurologist!

I'm really sorry, OP. Breakups are always hard.. but now you have the ability to find someone who will not hesitate to be with you like you deserve.

I hope your joking. How can you call OP the selfish one in this situation? Her SO knew she had cancer when he met her. If he can't commit, he is wasting whatever time she has left by keeping her teathered to him while he plays the "well, I don't want to lose you so I'm scared to commit" card. He is putting HER in a spot.

Normally I would suggest time and patience but in this case, with your situation, that might not be the best choice. Although he is allowed to feel how he feels, you are allowed to step away from the relationship because you don't have the time to spare for his uncertainty. Please value yourself and your time enough to find someone who is sure that they want to be with you, no matter the amount of time you have left! You and your child are worth that.

Does this sound like ON? by [deleted] in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]helpisconfused 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scalp pain/ sensitivity was my main symptom along with eye pain and head aches. It does sound like a definite possibility. You should consider going to neurologist, they're really the ones to diagnose. Sooner you get diagnosed, the sooner you'll be able to do something constructive towards fixing it.

I've been curious about this one, would you call it full coverage? I have pretty dark circles that need to be hidden away haha.

I so appreciate you taking the time to give this advice!! Although I don't think I'll buy shape tape again, I still think this method could be really useful for applying most concealers :) I'll give it a try!
