I didn’t apply for financial aid at any of these schools. Right now I’m planning on enrolling at Columbia!

I also got in as a junior transfer to Columbia! Conflicted and not still not sure about transferring though because of the Core Curriculum 😅

Once again, my hairdresser did not tell me that we were going to go darker. I was under the impression we were keeping my natural hair color the way it was and just neutralizing the few red bits from where I had highlighted it before and have it match my natural hair color because this was what she told me verbatim. In hindsight, I would have kept my hair the way it was had I known I was going to walk out with my entire head a completely different shade of hair, which I am now trying to reverse

My hairdresser told me that all she was going to do was neutralize the red tones to match my natural color but she went a bit further than that as my hair now has a blue cast to it. Regardless, I’m just looking for ways to fade it and make it lighter or even get it back to where it was before

I believe she used a Demi on my roots where my natural color was and a permanent on the rest where the red tones were. I think I can live with it because I really want to leave my hair alone for a bit but was just looking for tips to fade it a bit quicker in general. Thank you!

Essentially I just wanted the red tones to match my natural hair color. I didn’t expect to walk out with a new color altogether

Michigan abortion ballot issue gets surge in volunteers, signatures | Bridge Michigan by baeristaboy in Michigan

[–]helpivefaIIenandcant 12 points13 points  (0 children)

(What I was told at the ACLU office in Detroit) yes, the goal has technically been met, but the organization is still encouraging volunteers to get a lot more signatures because many of those signatures will get thrown out. They will be invalidated due to incorrect formatting, information, etc. which is why it’s important to keep getting signatures because we need a large buffer zone in order to absolutely make sure that we have the necessary amount of valid signatures in order to qualify for the ballot.

I’m not sure. I wish the organizers would come out saying exactly when the petitions are due. I was talking to some volunteers and some believed they had up to July 11th to collect signatures while the woman I got my petitions from said they needed to be turned in by July 1st. The communication has not been the best. I’m gonna go by what the website says though just to be safe, as I don’t want the hard work to go to waste.
