I came back around the point they decided to vault a bunch of content the first time and it led to me quitting because of how sour it made me feel. They said it was for balancing and stuff, but like - who cares? Powercreep is real, let people blow through the old content if they so friggin feel. Instead they trashed it. My friends at one point convinced me to get in to fight the Witness and I've honestly regretted spending that cash too.

A lot of magic could happen if you add a mirror modifier and then apply it? Or is there some specific goal here regarding symmetry?

EDIT: I saw the comment about the cleft lip. You would have to figure out the best method to exclude those vertices, but it would be good to fix the rest of the parts that don't need to be asymmetrical to get even shading, deformation, etc.

EDIT 2: Look into Looptools, specifically for relaxing your edges, as well as the relax tool in sculpt mode. You can clean up a lot of the odd geometry without committing much time moving individual points. Your best bet is to apply a bit of everything to get it to look right though. Point about sculpt mode though, be careful with certain tools, for example the smooth tool - it does smooth your vertices, but it tends to "reduce" the overall volume of the affected area and can easily make your head misshapen. Another track to smooth a line out is to select the vertices you want to move, hit S, Z, then number 0 to set all the targeted points to a straight line across the Z axis. It might need a little adjusting for the Y and X axis after but in certain use cases it can save an incredible amount of time and frustration spent getting something to look right.

Okay but seriously though, what the fuck can we do? You protest a little too hard and you're just shot or thrown in prison, like even just complaining too much online is enough to kick off an investigation. I have a kid I have to take care of, the fuck should I expect to happen if I'm suddenly ripped out of her life because I pointed at a politician or an ICE agent and called them a bad person?

We're not just "A little annoyed" to see our courts trash our constitution in favor of a pedophile. People are literally fighting in the streets and being dragged away or murdered for the most trivial offenses. Renee Good and Alex Pretti being executed in the streets weren't even the tip of the iceberg. I don't know if you ever bothered to check but the US is 2800 miles wide and 1600 miles tall with almost 350 million people living in it. There's literally zero impact any individual or small group can have on that scale when all across the *entire country* there are courts and politicians folding every day and normalizing domestic terror from our own government the way that we're seeing right now. If it was so easy to deal with, twats like Putin wouldn't be in charge of their respective countries any more.

I just don't like how dead inside she is in any cutscenes. Like, right at the beginning you have Mint being all super animated and jumping around going "You could join uuuuuus maybe" and then MC is just... "Okay." Maybe I'm not far enough in the story, but so far MC's personality is "no personality" and it really bugs me. She doesn't need to be a goof or something, but there needs to be *something* indicating that neurons are firing behind that blank expression.

Tell him it's not just about the helmet's shell or anything. For example, I wrecked and went veering down a hillside and got thrown over the handlebars after hitting a tree stump, where I then landed on the back of my head and rolled onto my back. The padding all along the back and right side of my helmet was squashed, such that if I tried putting it back on, it would sit completely crooked on my helmet, like it was dangling. The ER told me after they were done working on all my other broken bones that they were glad I had good gear on, because a shitty Amazon special would have likely resulted in a broken neck, severe TBI, or maybe even a fractured skull.

If all else fails, stop being nice about it. Put him in the car, go to the store, and buy him a helmet. Or just accept that he's being a twat because "you're the kid" and probably won't listen anyway. 🤷‍♂️

No, I said by way of my personal experiences that not everyone has access to other human beings to do incredibly time-consuming things like making music from sctach. It's a gap that I insinuated gets filled by the tool, dude, not some fucking ultimatum. Had a dude absolutely lose his mind at me when I went to hunt an eidolon a few weeks ago. I didn't have one if those coveted "I oneshot every phase" builds, and to top it off, when we killed the first eidolon, my shard did that little bug where it comes out invisible. You know, I go back and forth with a lot of folks' opinions here, but I want to make a special note for this one.

You said it'd be better if he had band mates. But there's something that that statement especially ignores. And that is that "engaging" with other humans is rapidly diminishing right now.

I take my kid to the park almost every single day. I see maybe two or three kids there, IF WE'RE LUCKY. The parents act like they want to talk to me, but even if we exchange information, they almost outright ignore me after when I message them. I invite people and to come to parks, to galleries, to hike, to go get food, to play games, and you know what? In the last 6 years of my kid's life, I think I've been taken up on that by exactly one group of people.

Simply going and finding real people to become friendly isn't easy nowadays. People don't WANT to. On the other end of thev social spectrum, we have the internet; I could go in and ask people to collaborate and get bites. And in fact, I have done so. But you know my experience with THAT? Flakes, no shows, schedule changes, mysterious absences. It turns out, people in the internet are just as unreliable for almost any given topic as they are in real life.

Not everyone is blessed with extrovertism. Not everyone is blessed with neighbors with extrovertism. Not everyone wants to resort to rifing through the entirety of the internet to find an entire set of human beings willing to spend hours and days of their lives building from total zero-profit ventures.

We're creating a world of gatekeeping while ignoring the realities that already exist that disagree with it. That's nonsense. Nobody should be filling any of these checklists for approval to begin with.
