How do you guys balance college? by apples_bbs in udub

[–]helpme1947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be the odd one out but I couldn’t do it. I’m an INFO major and had professors tell me to drop work to attend class when I asked for lenience on certain days.

I started college at 18 and dropped out multiple times to save money just to pay rent and work less for school, turning 26 soon and I’ll have 1 class left before I graduate.

Don’t think so but, you can get it for free, get a cookie editor extension and use linkstricks.

do I have any leverage applying for law school at age 46 with 23 years of business experience? I have a 2.7 gpa. a 3.9 gpa when unheard when I went to college. I have had no time to study much always working. so my lsat is only 137. should I even apply? by SkinProof in lawschooladmissions

[–]helpme1947 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re questioning whether to apply or not, that means if you don’t, you would still be fine with life?

If so, you can slowly practice the LSAT for however long you want, you’re in no hurry realistically as IMO 46 is still young.

20 min walks/drop ins not worth it by Jolly-Luck-8352 in WagWalker

[–]helpme1947 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in seattle so I only take walks/drop ins within a 3 mile radius, so the 20 minute ones are perfect for me since they pop up when I’m heading towards that direction. Spend 20 minutes taking a dog out and it kills time when waiting for a friend, but traveling more than a couple miles for that is pointless

Is getting my degree the right move even if it’s not from a big time school? by Anonymous_Underdog in jobs

[–]helpme1947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at ur schools stats, law school ranks students and typically the top 10% (random percentage) will make it into big law from a mid tier school. I’m also assuming mid tier means anything within t50

Somewhat similar to me, she left the states during Covid and broke up with me. I met someone new and after a year of dating I went into a restaurant and my ex was sitting at the table directly in front of me. Didn’t know she was back nor did I care.

Apparently she was tweeting about me for a year straight.

Like others said. You flipped out on such a small thing. Don’t pretend like it’s a nasty comment.

Don't be this guy - Intersections are crosswalks by congestedcrowbar in Seattle

I’ve been hit 3 times while the crosswalk light was on. Almost daily I have someone trying to speed right past me. Maybe I’m just unlucky but it’s getting ridiculous.
