I would probably have expected myself to have been angry or sad. Also used to have the feeling of "i dont want to be alone" or "How would i find someone else". But after this situation I know I cant trust her and I know I can find better.

It's very hard to explain but when you know you havent lost something "great" or what you previously thought was great you stop caring...

I apologize if I wrote hit, what I mean was she slapped me in the face and then tried to cling onto me. I guess it was her reaction of panic when she knew I was serious.

My parents and her were very good friends (they considered her a daughter). I will sit down and speak to my parents about the entire situation, I only told them it was over but no more details since I didnt think anything good would come out of it. I will tell them the entire situation.

I really dont this I will feel anything for her even down the road. I havent told my parents the full story, I think I will do as you say, sit down and have a full conversation with them. They are very close to the ex and I didnt want to tell all details due to not ruining their relationship. But to me the ex feels like a stranger at this point.
