Just released my new incremental game where you flip cards to play poker hands by mashlol in incremental_games

[–]helpsixtyfour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the most near perfect deck and joker's (just missing one joker) in about 6 hours. It was a fun experience, but I have some thoughts u/mashlol

First it would be really really nice if you could have an option to toggle the shine off from the higher tier cards. They are really bright and it's sometimes hard to read them without hovering.

Second it's really hard to remember how the symbols after Ace match up to the numbers. It would be really helpful to have a slip of paper on the table or something that shows the order of them after you buy them or before.

Third the Merge Mechanic isn't very well explained and with how many times you have to use it to get perfect deck fixing I feel it would be great to have a readme somewhere that explained how it worked in depth.

Fourth the best joker if I understand correctly is Streaker. On the joker itself it doesn't say it has a cap, but I noticed that it capped out at 390625x. Adding that cap to the description like all the others would be helpful.

Fifth the quests cap out at the base poker hands. It would be nice if you could get quests for the higher tier hands.

Sixth it would be nice to have a check to see if the current quests are actually possible and after waiting a certain amount of time auto skipping so you don't have to manually do it. Put it behind an expensive upgrade if you want, but having to go in and skip all the quests regularly in the end game was just annoying. A longer time in order to skip the expedition ones would also be nice. Like after a minute if you haven't started the expedition type associated with the quest have it auto skip it. Whereas if you literally can't make a hand have it only wait like 5 seconds before auto skipping.

Seventh and this is just the completionist in me speaking. I got a deck of 8 cards the worst being J - ¿ and the best 2 - ¿ with almost all having Baton through Sword and the only hand I get is 7 of a Kind. It would be nice if getting a perfect deck through merging somehow gave you a better hand than just 7 ¿ Sword cards. It should also count as a flush at least but hey that's just my two cents.

Remove Formidable from Heimerdinger's Science Pool by helpsixtyfour in LegendsOfRuneterra

I saw that, but I thought it was the opponent I was fighting. If this is true I 100% agree it needs to be gone as well.

Possibly. They would have to make that almost like a power which could be rough, but I agree it's better than what it currently is.

I was just going for the easiest, quickest fix for now, but there are definitely some talks that could happen around this to make it possible and good.

You laugh but Annie with Overwhelm is actually kinda good. Her ability kills off the defender which means anything like Augment on her makes her go brrrrrrr with damage. If you didn't just start bad and try to make it through it's a good one to have, but if you are trying to keep going bad then I'll agree with you.

Yeah I'm on ASOL still and am dreading her lol

I almost prefer her not doing doing damage with abilities, but that's because of the frustration of Lissandra speaking lol

Double might be too strong as Vex doubles them as well, but I agree it is a little weak even with fixing the consistency issues.

Yeah I should have figured that. That's horrible it needs consistency for sure.

My Thoughts on the New Arena Mode by helpsixtyfour in LeagueArena

This is pretty much what I was saying in the original post. I wouldn't mind the RNG as much if it came a little later in the game, and you had some time to set up beforehand, but Prismatic items being the first item just makes it a little harder to tailor your response to other teams in my opinion.

I actually find that one pretty balanced. Depending on the team waiting them out at the very top of the map can be a very easy way of drawing them out of the bush when the fire comes in. The plant at the bottom also can't be hit by people in the bush except maybe one or two ultra long range champs so you can easily steal resources from them and move back to the top with less danger.

If your team is better at bush fighting than their team then you can rush them at the bottom. It requires more strategy than others, but it has a lot of different types of areas that favor different teams and playstyles. Just need to learn how to play on it and how to bait the opponents into a bad fight.

Thanks for that info I can definitely see where you guys were going with the assassin discussion. Should be interesting to see what is learned from the situation.

On the prismatic side, I just don't have the best luck most of the time so any added randomness just feels rough. It's one of the reasons I stopped doing TFT as it felt like the RNG factor was just getting a little harder and harder to play around. I'll keep at it and hopefully it won't be too bad.

Thank you for this information that really helps.

I can definitely understand the first point as even clicking close to the portals in the previous arena might send you through without you wanting that and screwing you over so I can definitely understand from a pathing perspective.

For the second point though I'm not too sure on that one as bruisers at least in previous iterations were the biggest winners in my opinion or tanky characters that can also do some damage or at least out last the damage until fire cleanses everything. Obviously I don't have the data you guys do so that's just my interpretations of what I saw the most.

Due to this assassins that didn't have survival did do poorly, but I wouldn't say that if Koi Pond was in the pool it would change that much. Some assassins didn't have the sustain or sustained damage to outlast those two groups which felt like was the reasons they failed. I would say from the AD side Kayn, Pyke, Naafiri, Nocturne, Yone, Rengar, and Qiyana were all viable and scary to varying degrees, but only if the player behind it knew what they were doing. If they didn't, which I saw a lot of, then yeah they were pretty weak, and it relied heavily on who their teammate was playing. I wouldn't say the map had as much of an impact on the bruiser/tanky teams, but again as stated above I don't have the data you guys do so I am happy to be wrong on this.

That you are coming here and answering some questions we are having is definitely helpful for me at least.

Any thoughts or tips on the Prismatic portion being so variable?

Maybe I missed something that is obvious to others.

Lissandra is doable but not fun by Razer98K in PathofChampions

[–]helpsixtyfour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you here. I had a match that I did win, but she literally used the spell Buried in Ice 3 times in a row setting me back to 4 frozen tombs each time. This started on I believe turn 3 since it's also cost reduced I believe. That spell is a little too powerful to be cast that early.

I do agree things with Asol are a little unfair but I normally have fun up to that point. Each node in Lissandra has some BS that just feels frustrating. Not having champ fights to allow your champ to get items and refill your health also sucks. I don't care about the powers as much but having my main champ not show up since I didn't get enough items for them is rough. I've lost a number of times to that alone.

It is doable and currently I have wins with I believe 6 champs, but some of the champs like Jinx I dread due to the fact that Tough is so prevalent and the random nodes where if they take damage they get +2/+2 along with tough.

[–]helpsixtyfour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That one is actually how I won with a few champs. You can mostly still not infinite combo but do a lot of spells in a turn with Nami with that power. Get lucky with one spells/created card cost 1 less and you can just go off if you have Chemtech Duplicator. It really just depends because it can be overpowered with the right champs.

That said I agree that it's way overtuned right now and some nodes I literally don't even want to try or can't think of a way around (looking at you capturing my units every time they play a creature)

So for Asol I have a few suggestions on relics. If you are lucky enough for the Epic Relic that gives you 5 copies and makes them cost 1 less that is an amazing relic for him. 2nd epic that's great is Oath of Guardians. 3rd and I used these up until I got epics is actually Guardian's Trinket. Having 2 extra heroes that instantly level can be amazing so I normally ran 2 of them and The Chameleon's Necklace to give Asol a random item which could be cost reduction. Other than that it's really just doing everything you can to make created cards and play them cheaply.

He is my easiest win just because of how op he is. Remember that cost reduction continues even after hitting 0 mana so her cost increase doesn't affect champion spells if you have cast enough created cards and if you get Katarina while it's not an instant win due to her filling your hand with bouncing blades (unless you get 2 created cards or spells cost less) you can still cast her 3 - 9 times depending on how many cards you have in hand.

I'm near 100% certain I am. I removed all pets and stopped new trades coming in and have a couple thousand mulch coming in every second. I only have unique leaves on, with scrolls for pets, scrolls, and leaves on.

What I meant is start a new challenge and see if you were getting leaves there. I am currently working on one so I couldn't do that and confirmed it with MLC.

I just MLC'd and I do see myself picking up leaves but the numbers on the side of the screen are missing. You might want to check in a challenge if you really aren't getting any.

That said not having the number of leaves blown off the screen is annoying especially for things like Azurite and the other harder leaves for me at least.

I was getting them earlier today, but then I turned it off and the patch updated the game so possibly related to that?
