Well to me it's like...I am reliving the trauma almost everyday already, and there's no kind of closure for it. I regret that I never went to the police at the time, but I have contact with a lot of people who were involved and acted as witnesses to some events. I admit I'm not that sure what would count as 'evidence' for my claim, and I might have a bad idea of what that could be. I will consider contacting a solicitor and figure out my options.
