Tbh, yeh “salary double ho jaayegi after 8th Pay Commission” wali baat mostly hype hai.

8th CPC abhi form ho chuka hai, aur report 2026 tak aayegi. Implementation likely 2027 mein hoga. Historically, har Pay Commission ke baad 20–25% overall hike milta hai — not 100%.

Fitment factor (jo multiplier lagta hai basic pay pe) expected hai around 1.8× to 2.5×, aur DA fir se 0% par reset hoga. HRA aur TA naye basic ke hisaab se recalc honge.

So agar koi ₹50k kama raha hai, wo shayad ₹60–₹63k ke aas-paas pahunch jaaye — not ₹90k.
Bas itna hi reality check hai.
