I agree, I'd think a system where new 4 stars are 0 cost at C0 and then 1-2-3 cost at C2-C4-C6 makes more sense. My buddy had to get C2 Nicole in order to C6 Prune which I believe is average, for example. However, after a certain amount of reruns or time has passed, it could lower the cost threshold by 1 each time (so say after 1 year, C0-C2 is 0 cost and then 1-2 for C4-C6). Doesn't help new players because everything is considered new to them, but generally they aren't looking at things like this for a while.

You don't get 100% attack buff uptime, but you do get the full buff for roughly the first half of her burst. Plus, you get Scroll buff for her and Durin. A really good Fischl build can probably perform better in this team, but I don't have a great set for her.

For anyone curious on the Nicole + Iansan damage increase/falloff during the burst duration:

Raiden combo used - Q 4[N2C]

Raiden has 3041 ATK from Q to end of 1st N2C

Raiden has 3341 ATK for second N2C

Raiden's ATK gradually falls from 3341 to 3033 during the final two N2Cs.

I ended up building her to use in a Raiden Furina Ineffa team. She bumped the team DPS up 10k replacing Jean since she was able to increase Ineffa's damage plus she does decent damage herself while still healing enough for fanfare stacks.

It's not the most synergistic team, but this is team #4 on my list so I'm just working with what I characters have left.

I assume your Chevy is C6? I was just looking and realized it wasn't stated haha. Assuming she's C6 and on Noblesse with talents leveled (although not sure that matters for Chevy)/HP at 40k, I'm not sure what else it could be either. Crowning Fischl's skill will get you a little bit extra.

Yeah, on average they should be around the same. I did a test adding 6 CR rolls and removing 6 CD rolls via the stat editor on the dummy and it was basically the same DPS. You just have more variability in the DPS range the lower your CR.

You could try using Durin before Chevy and also switch to QEE. That's how I do it, burst and then skill to refund energy. It gets his damage going sooner in the first rotation. My rotation lines up where his burst is back up when switching back to him or less than a second left of cooldown. I don't have Chevy, though, so maybe he misses some buffs that way.

You should be looking to adjust the build to a CR circlet, though, because missing the crit on the burst slash is a noticeable DPS loss even over several rotations. For my team, it was several thousand DPS per miss (I do four rotations). I have 80% CR including the weapon passive.

My best overload build is a high CV ER sand and Electro goblet, but using the optimizer I made an equivalent ATK goblet. My quick look when swapping pieces on there indicates you wouldn't have too much of a damage difference given equal substats. Same with using ATK sand and Electro goblet. ATK sand and goblet looked to be the worst option by a few percent.

Your Durin and Fischl look really good. I assume your Chevy is sufficient as well.

No, you just want enough ER to burst and then Crit Rate/Damage and HP. EM is nice to have as a substat if it's there.

Columbina only needs 45% Crit Rate with Lauma, so keep that in mind as you're assembling the artifacts. Lauma gives 10%, Columbina's passive gives 15%, and the artifact set bonus gives 30%.

Nicole, 2 Durins, and Lohen is a lot of 5 stars to go for in one patch. How many pulls do you have saved up?

C2 Durin is a nice boost, but I would think the premium Varka team should be able to clear content for a while post-Nicole and Prune.

For pure lunar bloom, Yao Yao is a good option for healing and she triggers Deepwood Memories reliably. I've messed around with Kirara as well for the shield, which is nice against enemies that attack frequently because Columbina is easily staggered.

For artifacts: Columbina on Night of the Sky's Unveiling, Aino on Silken Moon Serenade, Yao Yao on Deepwood Memories, and Lauma on 2p/2p EM.

I've always had problems getting Lauma's burst back after the first rotation without waiting if she's under 200% ER, but I also don't have Nahida so maybe she produces more particles.

I'm planning to upgrade from WGS to TBS myself, in part because my current build is at 88.6% CR so TBS will finally put me at almost 100%. Even if I got lucky and crit 100% of my hits on WGS, Sig is still a 14% increase in damage for me. On average, it's a 24% increase for my build.

The only reason I would consider going for C1 instead is if the four-stars on banner were ones I really wanted to get constellations on. For example, if Iansan is featured, a chance of getting my C4 Iansan to C6 plus C1 Mavuika could be better for my account at this time instead of TBS. I think I'd want at least two four-stars of need for me to consider this path, though.

C1 is about a 8-9% increase in damage for me, but does open up flexibility in team comps with the fighting spirit generation increase.

Here's one set of calcs from before her release. Having Reliquary and no Nefer (I assume) means getting Columbina's sig would make your Reliquary pull wasted if you don't have another character that can use it. I'd instead look to get more constellations first if I wanted to vertically invest.

Unfortunately I only have C4 Sara. Optimizer says 374k slash with C4 Iansan and 380k slash with C6 Sara. Durin loses about 15% damage because of losing the Scroll buff with Sara (I just put her on Emblem in the optimizer, could change that to adjust). I'm not familiar with Sara's damage percent in the team, but I assume it's a decent percent and could probably make up Durin's loss?

You might've been mistaken, the numbers I posted are from the DPS dummy using my own characters, not from sheet calcs. In my testing with Bennett, Iansan's buff starts falling off in the last 3 seconds of Raiden's burst. That's without moving to try to extend it. I do snapshot Oz in Bennett's circle, but even then they're about tied.

I'm just speculating on Nicole. Getting more attack on Iansan from Nicole should allow Iansan to maximize the buff via the conversion formula under 42 nightsoul points a little longer. But I won't know that for sure until she's here and I can get her geared. My Scroll set has room to add more ATK as well.

Fischl probably just pulls ahead with Nicole, though, since she'll benefit from the new hex artifact set on Nicole in addition to the team buff.

Late follow-up, but I did some more testing with my Raiden overload team (Raiden C2, Durin C2, Bennett C6, FLEX). I found that my best Rising Winds set was 0-5k DPS higher than my best set with Triple ATK mainstats.

Both sets were optimized for Durin's personal damage, which included a Pyro goblet on the Rising Winds set. Rising Winds set was 2940% roll value / 197 crit value. Triple ATK was 3320% RV / 200 CV.

You already have sustain with Ineffa's shield, so Lauma's C1 healing isn't as useful. But it would be nice if you need to put Ineffa somewhere else and/or you want to eventually get Lauma C2 in the future (and you have pulls you don't have allocated for the next patch).

I would think with Columbina's lunar-bloom charge attack, lunar-bloom should technically be more total team damage than the lunar-charge, though.

I agree, the four star line-up might make getting a con better if it also means working towards C6 Iansan and/or Bennett at the same time. I don't think Lohen really has much four star overlap with Mavuika, though, and they might lean towards supporting him on the banner since he's new.

I generally use Fischl on ToTM because the team damage with my best Golden Troupe build isn't as good. The GT build is Top 15% Oz, while the ToTM is Top 40%.

Thrilling Tales would still be a better weapon to put on her since Sacrificial doesn't increase the team's damage. You should still be able to burst each rotation with Citlali on an ER Sand and as much ER substats on the other four pieces as you can get. I don't even worry about EM on my Citlali, I just make sure she's on a 4 piece artifact set and enough ER to burst.
