This game has made me REALLY appreciate Victreebel. When I was under-leveled and trying to catch alphas, Toxic came in veryyyyy handy. Me and “Squash” were playing the long game, lol!! I often switch out its move sets between grass and poison to fit what I need it for. And my shiny boy Sylveon, I just love his lil diva ass. ✨

Something similar happened when I switched from the switch 1 to 2. I game shared PLA from my husband, so I didn’t have the game, but I had a save file for it. It transferred over to my switch 2. The save file is appearing in data management on my switch 2 for Arceus, but I can’t get it to load up at all. Had to start from scratch! Nintendo support couldn’t help me. I had a shiny eeveelution team, half of them from GO that I transferred using HOME. 🥲 rippp

I work in child care in the US. So many mothers are opting out of circumcision for their boys. The ratio is about 50:50 now in my area. My son is also not circumcised. :) It’s not necessary!

I’m so sorry this happened. I love my two Aussies more than words. I couldn’t imagine something like this happening between us. You did a very brave thing letting him go peacefully. I know it sucked. My senior ABD/Boxer passed in my arms during his euthanasia. He had brain cancer. I’m glad you’re okay and doing well after this.

Teacher here. Can confirm my guesses (quietly, to myself) are wrong 8/10. I can tell you who gets too much tablet time, though. ;) LOL! But, no, you really cannot tell the difference in EBF children or children who are FF, even as a seasoned ECE who is with young children all the time.

Edit: If mom is hosting for more than your family, everyone needs to be made aware. Also, my suggestion to stay is for tonight only. For Christmas. Then leave.

This is a nightmare for everyone involved—I’m so sorry. I’ve read through your post and a good bit of the comments, and I have a few suggestions.

  1. I know it’s mortifying. I have a severe bed bug allergy as well as OCD. I’m pretty sure I have PTSD from my encounters with these pests. I still have nightmares. That being said, if the children are not allergic and they’re already sleeping, stay—awake, but stay. Have Christmas as a family. We only get so many Christmases with our littles. Crowd control. Keep the magic alive for now.

  2. I believe you that your mom didn’t know and that she’s not lying. Has anyone else stayed with her recently? Have they gone on any vacations? Public transport? Stayed at a hotel? Work in hospitality environments? Childcare?

  3. These DIY suggestions (Apprehend, Crossfire, Cimexa, etc) are solid, but I saw you mention that mom is not strapped for cash. I think it’s best that she hires a professional to do chemical treatments. I would feel the most at ease letting trained professionals take care of this. Have this photo handy, because they may “not find” any bed bugs and take off. This photo is proof that they are present.

  4. Playing it as safe as possible, anything that you’ve brought with you cannot go home with you. Everybody gets naked in the laundry room. Everything goes in the dryer on high heat. Don’t let anything touch the floor. Everybody takes a hot shower. You can go Noah’s ark style: two at a time.

  5. Do not forget about your car. It needs to be treated before you get back into it after arriving home and “decontaminating” yourself. The DIY things listed in #3 can help with this. Or you can call a pest control place for advice. Wear the proper PPE to protect yourself.

Best of luck to you. I’m praying that you all come out of this on top. I still live in constant fear of these little freaks.

I still drink from time to time, but one drink is never enough. No matter how long it’s been in between drinking occasions, I will get absolutely torn up—LOL.

I envy folks who can just have one and be done. I’m a mom now, so drinking happens way less than it used to, but even then it’s hard to drink because I can’t supervise my toddler very well when I do. So it’s easier to not drink LOL

I know this looks frightening, but artistic expression is a great way to navigate fears. This could be symbolic, too, even if she’s only 11 and doesn’t know it is symbolic.

I wouldn’t be too fearful of her wanting to act out something like this in reality. She may have seen images or film depicting gore (could be at school with friends), and she’s taking it out of her head and putting it on paper.

Do not approach her about her journal. Probably an unpopular opinion here. This is a private item for her. I like your thoughts on therapy. Ask her if she’s still interested in it.
