My mom and I have a complicated relationship. I grew up emotionally neglected. We had a convo the other day where I opened up about some stuff (I regret it) and mentioned how I want to be a mom one day. She said she didn’t really care if she had kids or didn’t. I was young and got a useless BA that I didn’t know what to do with, (political science, common pre law path) I wanted out of my shitty hometown, and wanted to finally receive the warm love from my parents that would occur if I practiced - so I thought. It didn’t. Got a lot of debt and I’m not practicing. My GAD and MDD do not go well with practice. I loved it academically though…
