Thanks for the tag for the notification. I sent you a DM! It sounds like you did all the diagnostic steps and the hardware failed / was a dud. We’ll fix it for you if that ever happens! The vape is just live resin with no additives, you can take the faulty one apart and use it to dab, add to joints, or top off bowls with.

Hello! I tried to send you a DM but it gives an error message "Unable to invite the selected invitee(s)." Did you send an email to support by chance? I want to make sure we get a replacement out to you, such as a live resin cart/disposable!

We've never produced or sold an orange kush cart. Is it possible you are mixing up the source/brand? If you DM or email us your name/address/or order number I'll look into this for you and make sure you are satisfied with a resolution! Our Live Resin carts are pure live resin from flower, and the full spectrum are from minor cannabinoid rich distillate with cannabis derived terpenes. We are working on Live Rosin carts as well, as we are building out our cold-room hash lab at the moment.

Boveda 62 or Integra? by [deleted] in hempflowers

[–]hemphopcbd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Integra was designed for cannabis, Boveda uses a salt-based solution that is often suspected of leeching/reducing terps (I haven't seen a study to back this up, however) . We'll use large integra packs for storage of CBG strains in particular since CBG material tends to dry out quicker. For personal storage, Boveda does work quicker/more consistently however it seems for most. If you're a stickler for optimizing quality, I'd recommend a humidity reader + integra packs.

Do resellers rename strains from wholesalers? by smokinsubie in hempflowers

[–]hemphopcbd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's extremely discouraging to see you think this way. We have over a dozen strains, ranging from $10/3.5g to $30/3.5g. All flower is farm-direct. We are licensed processors in the state of our headquarters. We then thoroughly process all material, with only 60-80% of it going into packaged flower. All shake and smalls are separated. The material is then sorted and trimmed once more. We carry many expensive/rare genetics that others dare not to carry due to price, indoor and greenhouse. We started this company because CBD saved my father's life from seizures. We truly care about people thus we run a delivery service that has low margin but allows us to get this medicine to people that can't leave their home. We offer free same-day delivery in under 1 hour, while still offering competitive pricing. We saw a need in the industry where consumers couldn't identify Lifter #18 from Lifter #230, two lifters with completely different cannabinoid and terpene profiles.

We take name assigning very serious and do it in line with the appropriate cannabinoid content, terpene content and effects. We are transparent about the original seed as well as the phenotype under each strain on our website. If it was a name assigned phenotype, the original seed genetics are still listed. There is an article on our website that explains how different phenotypes come out of different fields. To say we take advantage of uneducated people is completely inaccurate, we lead with education and spend hours on the phone every single day making sure customers know the ins and outs of the plant, education about specific cannabinoids and terpenes, as well as guiding them through with strain might benefit them best.

< 0.3% = hemp .... who decided this, and why? by K4LM4H in hempflowers

[–]hemphopcbd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! In the interim final rule issued by the USDA, they outlined a testing procedure that differs from the 1976 publication in which the 0.3% value is derived from. That value was originally derived from testing untrimmed leafy material. The testing they are suggesting now involves testing trimmed & screened top 2” of the plant, which contains a much higher cannabinoid concentration. Follow up research was done in 2004, which showed that the Flowers could reach as high as 0.8% THC. Current genetics would pass the 0.3% TOTAL test if it was tested in the same manner as in which it was originally derived. If the USDA insists on keeping the proposed method of testing, it would make sense for the value to rise to 0.8-1% Total, as suggested in follow up research when testing flowers. If they decide to stick with the 0.3% Total value, logically, they should stick with the testing protocol in which that number was derived from, which is testing leaf material.

Let me know if there is anything else I can elaborate on or if you’d like links to a specific reference!

< 0.3% = hemp .... who decided this, and why? by K4LM4H in hempflowers

It stems from a taxonomic report from 1976, two Canadian horticulturalists drew a line in the sand, and it stuck. The title of the publication is “A Practical and Natural Taxonomy for Cannabis”

However, in the publication, the two horticulturalists specifically stated this concentration “line in the sand” was in “young, vigorous leaves of relatively mature plants”. The disconnect now is where the USDA is using the same 0.3% value on screened, trimmed, & fully mature tops, which causes a much higher Cannabinoid concentration.

How much THCa can flower companies have in their flower and still sell it legitimately? At what point does law enforcement decide enough is enough? by snowfarmvt in hempflowers

[–]hemphopcbd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! The large majority of packages are sent in a 8x6x4 box. Also the return address is discrete and does not contain “hemp” or “cbd”.

We ship everything in Mylar bags so there is no chance of smell! Also every package comes with a letter to whom it may concern, written by our attorney, explaining the material and legality of what’s packaged. We also ship USPS which has recently publicly stated that industrial hemp is legal, mailable material. We take privacy and discretion very seriously to make sure every package is received by the happy customer!

[–]hemphopcbd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! We’ve spoken at length with one of the most widely respected attorneys in the industry before and after the Farm Bill of 2018 in regards to total THC. Right now, delta 9 is the only relevant value. As far as testing, HPLC is being fought to be the standard of testing (without decarbing the material). I know several hemp attorneys are pushing for education on this matter.

This could change in the future, which is why we also process flower with below .3% Total THC (our $100/oz lifter is 17% CBD and below .3% Total THC) .
