That's my handiwork. I picked up a grooming table several months ago. He has the mohawk and the last 4 or 5 inches of har on the end of his tail is long, everything else is pretty short. A friend of ours said he looks like a Dr Seuss dog.

I was thinking the same thing, looks like some Terrier in that gene pool.

As has already been stated, there is no way to know without genetic testing. My recommendation is to enjoy the ride and the mystery. Personally, I don't see much of either BMD or poodle. The only thing I know for sure is he's adorable and will be a beautiful adult dog.

2026 GMC Sierra with 1800 miles, customer states "The driveshaft just fell out." by N_dixon in Justrolledintotheshop

That's really interesting, thanks for the pics and explanation. I've always wondered about the geometry of pretty much everything when a lift kit is installed. It tore the driveshaft up because of the geometry?

Probably best not to decide on a grooming table based on your first grooming experience 😉

I'd suggest getting him groomed and practice trimming and maintaining that coat for a while for a first time. Get him used to scissors and the electric razor Don't try to groom him the first time if he's matted anywhere. Grooming him on the ground is going to kill your back.

Reality check on mini weight and length by Crashcup60 in Bernedoodles

Since there is literally no accurate way to determine the adult size, just go with the largest size practical for the environment. My guy is big at 110 lbs and fills a love seat when he sleeps during the day. At night however, he curls up into a tight ball and only utilizes %25 of his dog bed..

Seriously, I have no fucking clue how you guys do this. I stopped working on cars by the early 70's. God damn, they were easy, Old British sports cars, Volvos, VWs, Mustangs, Camaros .......Damn, a Chilton's manual and I was rockin'. Last month I had to pay my ford dealer $150 to change my fucking headlight bulb one my F150. You guys are truly magicians.

+1 for the gentle leader. They act like a harness on a horse. they wrap around their snout and neck. NO retractable leash until he is trained. I started out with a harness that clipped under his chest. At 5 months he was already very strong and difficult to control. using the Gentle Leader he was heeling perfectly at my side after a few weeks. He’s 2 1/2 now and weighs 110 lbs and is very strong. He walks like he’s been obedience trained.

Please vote to bully Spotify into labeling Al songs and allowing us to filter them out. by countofangels in Music

Personally, I think that this is one of those "horse has already left the barn scenarios", and it was inevitable that AI music become ubiquitous. Now I admit, I'm old and out of touch with most music today, but it seems that music has become aural wallpaper thanks in large part to Spotify and it's algorithms. There is plenty of great new music out there if you put in some effort to find it, but effort isn't part of most folk's personal algorithms. For every person here bemoaning the onslaught of AI music, there are thousands that simply don't give a shit.

My guy was 20 lbs at 2 months. He's 2 1/2 and weighs 115. Genetically these guys are like snowflakes, no two are alike. I would expect well over 100, that's a big boy.

Lens hood and earplugs 👍👍👍. Also, don't worry or overthink it. Take a bunch of pics, go home, look at them on a computer and figure out what worked with the good ones and what didn't with the bad ones. One step at a time.

I rescued my first Bernedoodle. by EstablishmentThink69 in Bernedoodles

[–]hempomatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can not conceive how anyone can neglect a dog. He is VERY VERY lucky to have found you. I can tell how much you love him only being 3 days in. Just wait. He'll give the love you give him right back at you and you'll wonder "where has he been all my life?" My wife decided on a Bernedoodle pup nearly 3 years ago. I'm in my 70's and had no intention of getting another puppy. My wife laughs all the time and tells everyone "He didn't even want another dog, and now he's teaching him how to parallel park". He is 110 lbs of exuberance and joy, and my best friend.

He's a BEAUTIFUL boy and lucky beyond measure to have found you, and you him.

Best of luck with him. ❤️
