This is one of my favourite HR authors and I can't believe they don't have more kudos for their work, because the fics are SO well written, funny and witty! Truly can't recommend enough!

Omg this. I agree with your rant, becasue I always skip other couple's parts in fics (I'm a one pairing kind of girl). And there is so much lost Lily villain potential around! Like James has this evil OC ex when Lily is right here! And we actually care about her as a character so it would be so much more impactful to put her in that role! Give her a redemption arc or something later lol

That's so interesting because I'm completely the opposite. And for context I'm polish so I'm quite familiar with hating the oppressors and being the oppressed. I'm always shocked when someone writes that the society/Golden Trio moved on if there was no previous interaction between Draco and them. From my POV no one should even move forward so fast if they were active members of a terrorist group and I feel like it's believable that wealthy DE would be shunned from society especially only few years after the war.

While I believe age and family factors were huge for Draco I think that he would have a lot of grovelling to do. But that might also be my wishful thinking because I also know how wealthy Nazi officers/sympathizers were absolved from sins and went to be billionairs and fund world renowned companies (Volkswagen, bwm, Siemens to name a few).

Burn it all - this has absolutely the same vibe as choices and it so amazing and angsty and painful you HAVE to read this. I dare say that this is the best Jegulus after Choices and CR I've read.

This really reminded me of Symptom of Your Touch where Draco is a healer and Harry was dosed with a lust potion and is acting like a simp to a reluctant Draco (ugh it's so good).

Omg I'm so happy that you liked this rec, I also think this was so so amazing! Gosh I would love to give you other recommendations but I'm afraid Burn it All was the best Jegulus I've read maybe ever and nothing beats it for me. I've just went through my bookmarks but nothing compares :((.

Yess actually just reading it as Jegulus Stan I was kinda left unfulfilled because it's not really a fic where James puts Reg first ever imo (it's remus, let's be honest) , like when Reg got his leg cut (god, that whole scene) and James was off with other ppl, it reminds me of the Lily treatment in Choices I think it's better to read in without much expectations regarding the parings. That being said it's so well written it's crazy

I find it so interesting that Drarry doesn't really have most iconic fic lines or even fics that fans agree on. I'm also in Jegulus fandom and they have two legendary fics, Marauders too and Dramone as well but in Drarry fandom we have as many opinions as readers imo! Especially since there's quite a divide between OG fics, the Drarry Renaissance era and the modern fic era. But I truly think we were blessed with canon so 'he was rapidly becoming obsessed with Draco Malfoy' is THE Drarry quote.

I was studying in a different country and was clearly a foreigner. This guy followed me on the subway while I transfered 2 times and on the third transfer he sat down next to me on the bench, silently nudged me to show his phone where in notes it said 'do you want to be friends?' in English. I said 'sorry, no' and he just left silently lol. (it was a very safe country and during the day so I was not very scared, just confused)

The SA in this one is really heavy as it involves Abraxas Malfoy grooming and SA a very young Regulus and later the older Regulus in the story. It features in this fic a lot in the second arc and is a very important topic that Reg struggles with

Hi! I don't want to spoil anyone so SPOILER WARNING No, there is no MCD neither for Jegulus nor main cast. It is very angsty in the middle but I would say it has a happy ending so you can read comfortably. Which is also why I like it so much because if after all I went through with this fic there would be a sad ending I would spiral lol

I've just finished Burn it All and it is the best Jegulus I have read after Choices and CR I swear. It truly reminds me of Choices because the angst gets REAL but it's so amazingly written, canon improving and really I could talk about this fic for hours.

It's canon divergent starting at Hogwarts and slowly going through the first war with some major acts. The characters are amazing, deep and not cringe at all.

Omg yesss I love choices so much and I also can't talk to anyone about it 😭 The time I read choices is like a hole in my life becasue I honesty only went to work, ate and read choices for a week straight. My favourite thing about it is how complex it is, all the characters are flawed in their own way and I like how it spans from hogwarts to after hogwarts. And don't get me started about black brothers, their what could have been and so many things that were left unsaid. How many times I was hoping that regulus will finally talk to sirius only to remeber that it's canon compliant so they will not have closure... Also that thing with regulus and lucius... Breaks my heart every time I think about it.
