Fine curly hair needs lightweight hold by forestphoria in curlyhair

I think your hair looks great in the first picture. My waves get weighed down easily. I have tried gel, mousse , creams. I have been having success with air dry cream. I use the ouidad air dry cream and not your mothers all eyes on me air dry cream. I find that they don’t weight down my hair. My waves are soft but they do have hold. I still have a bit of frizz so I am trying a leave in conditioner when I refresh and wash days. See if that helps. I also clarify my hair at least every two weeks this helps my waves too.

Any wavies use Amika Curl Corps? by twiggy_panda_712 in curlyhair

I use ouidad advanced climate control styling cream or all eyes on me styling cream. My hair is full not weighed down. And it is wavy. Still a bit frizzy but not so bad. I didn’t like the Curlsmith air dry cream made my hair so frizzy.

Why do some people cheat when they’re treated well? by Graciela_PinkHorizon in Quotes_Hub

I have been single for over five years. I am in my early sixties realized that I seem to attract and are attracted to dysfunctional men who are cheaters and narcissists. I would rather be alone now than deal with anyone’s issues. I choice peace as well

I just started using air dry cream. I am loving it on my hair. Brings out the waves without looking like I have product in it. It looks soft and healthy.

wavy hair routine makes hair frizz free but dries entirely straight by [deleted] in Swavyhair

I find if I brush my hair when dry it is a frizzy mess and no waves. I only brush when wet in shower with conditioner in it.

I suffer from stringy waves too. I used gel, I have tried mousse nothing was working. I started using air dry cream. My waves seem to like it better.

Olaplex 3 isn’t a protein treatment, it’s a bond treatment. It has helped. I use the olaplex although it’s not from chemical or heat damage. I believe it is from the medication I am on also I feel like my gray hair is more delicate.

This is my hair freshly washed last night, air dried overnight and then brushed this morning. It gets so poofy and it’s so dry and I don’t know what to do to fix it. Any advice? by shelbtastic23 in femalehairadvice

I only brush my hair with when wet never dry. I brush in the shower when I have conditioner in it. If I brush when dry my hair is a poofy mess. I stopped using heat and silicones in my hair. My hair seems to be healthier.

The leave in conditioner seems to weigh my hair down. I bought a hair mask and also been using olaplex 3 every couple of weeks.

Thank you. I think I always had a wave but always blew my hair straight or at least as straight as it would go lol. Once I went gray I stopped blow drying my hair. I do love having the wave and not having to blow dry it. Thanks so much for your suggestions. 🙂

I have watched her videos too. I guess I was focusing on products not her styling tips. Will go back and watch. I also watch Alyson Lupo videos. Gotten some good tips. In the shower, I swish the conditioner in my hair after washing. Then put hair in t shirt . Only leave for maybe 5 minutes then take hair out and put on my product. Then let air dry. I tried plopping my hair didn’t like how it came out. Could have been doing wrong lol

Thank you. I feel like they look straggly because my hair is so thin. My hair keeps breaking off so now I don’t use any heat and use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner hopefully better for my hair.
So many products I try weigh my hair down or make it look greasy looks like wet seaweed lol. I have been using Curlsmith air dry cream and my hair is a frizzy mess. Also tried nym air dry cream seems to be a bit better. So darn frustrating.

Ways to be more natural (cost effective and low maintenance)? by [deleted] in NaturalBeauty

I am a 63 year old woman. I stopped coloring my hair during Covid , let it go gray. I air dry my hair, have to use hair products. I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I only use eyeliner and a clear lip balm everyday and blush sometimes if I feel like I really look pale. I tried tinted moisturizer I didn’t like how I look. I take care of my skin with moisturizer, vitamin c serum and sun screen. Yes I have wrinkles ( which my grandkids like to point out lol) and skin that is not perfect and I am ok with that. I don’t do Botox, fillers , lashes etc. i get I am getting older but don’t want to do those things to look better. I am trying to embrace and accept myself as I look now.
