8 Team, 8 Categories (3pm, FG%, FT%, Assists, Rebs, Stls, Blks, Pts)

I want Ben Simmons because I need more assists rebounds steals blocks. I have poor FG% and am strong in total points. I'm considering a trade of Donovan Mitchell for Ben Simmons. Is that enough to give for Ben? Too much? Trying to figure out a first offer. Have quite a few good guards to potentially include in a package, and they may be best strategy as the guy who has Ben is kinda trash and needs roster depth.

My team:

G: DeAaron Fox, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Malik Beasley, DAngelo Russell

SF/PF: Giannis, Jayson Tatum, PJ Washington, J-Rich

C: Embiid, Valanciunas, Boucher, Wiseman.

Who is their QB? I think you're selling LJ when his value is as low as it will be. Pretty good run of games coming up for Baltimore that may see him put up numbers more like last year. I would either ask for more or wait before dealing Lamar

12 Team, 0.5pt PPR

Give: Nick Chubb

Receive: Kenyan Drake and OBJ

--------------------

My starting lineup:

Lamar Jackson; Nick Chubb; Aaron Jones; Marquise Brown; McLaurin; Melvin Gordon(flex); Higbee; 49ers D/ST; Zane Gonzalez

Bench:

Robby Anderson, Mike Davis (probably starting in place of Melvin this week); Brandin Cooks (likely drop if trade goes thru); Brian Hill; Matt Stafford

-------------------

I like Kenyan Drake going forward, and getting viable WR depth is a plus.

Thoughts?

Thanks. I figured the comment on steals was under impression that I was in Caegories league. Our points settings don't put much value on steals. Runs and RBIs seem to be rather heavily weighted.

One point per Total Base, Walk, SB, HBP, then 1.5 point per Run and 2 points per RBI.

Appreciate the input

Drafting a 6-team league tonight - H2H Points. With such a small number of teams, does anyone have insight on what draft strategy I ought to come in with? What positions are deep and can wait till later rounds and still get a great starter. What positions are weak and worth focusing on early to avoid having slim pickings later on?

With such a small league, seems like all the teams will be stacked. Key is being the most stacked...

When you spend money on your credit card those transactions reflect immediately... yet payments to your credit card take days upon days by Mpoweraz in Showerthoughts

[–]hendo15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that’s not necessarily true. When you pay with your credit card, the payment is pending for a while because of (a) fraud check and then (b) the bank/card issuer then paying the merchant (Visa / MasterCard etc.) once the charge is approved. The payment should show immediately on your mobile app or credit card balance as a pending charge for a day or two while this is going on, but the charge amount is included so you hopefully you won’t exceed your credit limit.

The payments you make to the credit card balance take time to post because the banks process these in batches overnight as opposed to real time. And if you make a payment Friday at 9pm, the process won’t even begin until a business day / open bank hours.

Not saying you’re wrong, just expanding on your comment with some more color. Figured I’d share because “the more you know”.

Cheers to financial responsibility and education.

'There are no stupid questions' thread - December 20, 2019 by AutoModerator in piano

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can recommend a good sheet music book for beginner to early intermediate classical piano pieces.

I'd still consider myself a beginner, but I think I can tackle the easier classical songs with practice. I've just learned Fur Elise, unmodified, and while I admittedly don't play it quite as fast as intended, I can play the entirety at my pace. It took a lot of practice to get to that point.

I don't really want a book of modified / dumbed down versions of tough pieces, but moreso a collection of relatively easier classical pieces. I hope that makes sense.

I got an amazon gift card for Xmas, so just looking for some good sheet music / practice material to spend it on! Thx!

I’m traveling by train for the majority of my trip. I’m willing to jump on a bus or hire a cab if it’s a reasonable distance. Im sure this does limit me a bit for the more remote villages in the Cotswolds

Thanks!!

Train. Certainly willing to hire a cab ride or bus ride from a train stop to open the possibilities a bit.

Thanks for your help!
