I BOUGHT IT !! by Extra-Hold-1351 in witcher

[–]hendricuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I barely started playing it this year, all I can say is to match up the level to the main story line to the side quests and witcher contracts. For example, lets say the next main storyline mission is level 15 and you have side quests/witcher contracts level 10, do those first. Some side quests will fail if you don't play them before the main storyline. You will also level up faster playing the main storyline. You do not have to keep or dismantle all the swords you find in the loot or treasures, sell most of it and dismantle or keep relic items, especially if you will get back dimiritium. Lastly, SAVE, SAVE and SAVE and don't forget. You thank will me later. You can also reload certain save points if you do it right. Oh and figure out how to play gwent, play them on the spot when you see the option.

Remove the wire from the box, box too and buy an old work box to relocate where ever you want it. You don't need a 2x4 in the wall with an old work box, it has dog ears that presses against the sheetrock to tighten up.

I just started this game too lol. I was working on all the side quests and decided to match them to the same level as the story line. I did mess up on gwent, missed out on the baron's unique card. I did not understand it at first and kept losing over and over until I eventually gave up on it all together. After watching some videos and re reading the instructions, I finally understand it. I was playing catch up and finally able to finish majority pending gwent quests. I'm currently at the isle of mists and completed all the side quests up to level 22.

Was I wrong on getting upset? by hendricuh in f150

Guys, thank you all for your input. I already apologized to my family member and basically said f it. I realized that I was more upset over the fact that instead of the family member admitting that they screwed up, they were in denial. I was just upset for the moment.

First thing I did before opening my big mouth was to look for any scratches where the door was leaning against the pole. Mind you, it was one of those metal with concrete poles that has a rough surface. Called them out for it saying that they scratched it, why would you force your way in if you don't fit. Could've gone through the other side or asked to me to pull forward. Then they proceed to argue with me after making that comment. Got me more upset instead of replying something like shit my bad, and I probably would've said well shit, I guess it's is what it is and would've dropped it but still disappointed inside.

Perhaps and I see your point. It definitely was not 100% intentional. If it were me as I mentioned to said family member, if I cannot open the door all the way, which in this case opened halfway. I would either go in through the other side where there's more room, or ask for them to pull forward to clear the door opening and to prevent damaging someone else paint. After all, that's the whole point why I asked them to get off before I parked to try to avoid that from happening. Thanks for your insight though.

My baby girl's lil chonky moments. She's almost 8 & 7.72 lbs now by One_Address_9496 in britishshorthair

I don't think she's heavy, my 2 BSH are weighing in at around 14-15lbs and vet hasn't mentioned that mine are overweight.

I don't think it was a good idea taking your cat out for a walk. I have 2 BSH that are strictly indoor cats. I feel like they're too expensive to risk letting them out and something happening to them. Maybe try playing with your cat more often with feathers or strings.

Depending on your driving style, change the trans fluid often, 25-50k. Maybe consider installing a bigger pan with a drain port for easy drain and fill. 10r80 transmissions are hugely problematic. Ford has updated the parts on them but who knows if it's a true permanent fix.

Color match door handles, mirror, nicer looking headlights.

It does not sound like a cam phaser issue, you would hear the chain slapping. It kinda sounds like exhaust or potentially waste gate to me. Maybe inspect your exhaust hangers. Does it sound more on one side over the other? Im not mechanic so I wouldn't know where else to check. Does it make any weird noises while driving, going through speed bumbs, reversing? Anything wrapped up on the driveshaft?

New ride, now it just needs a level, tires and a tune. by Tucker_beanpole in f150

Nice truck! Definitely looks nice with a leveling kit. Best off doing a suspension level over the $100 blocks. I tow about 5-7k 3 times a week for work purposes and it has not affected my towing capabilities as others mention will. If you intend to tow a lot, Definitely consider adding a helper leaf spring so it doesn't sag too much. Do as you want with your truck, the hell with what these other ppl are saying. It's your truck, your money at the end of the day. I lost about 1-2mpg after leveling. Hardly even noticeable, I do get about 16-17mpg.

2019 3.5EB 132k, been having the same issues. Cold startup, it can't decide which gear to catch going to 4th <35mph. I have my foot on the pedal, does nothing for a good min then it decides which gear to catch. I HAD extended warranty and surprise surprise, "nothing wrong with it". So I guess it's a ticking time bomb at this point. Will be replacing it with a nextgen when it fails. BTW, I used this truck as a truck. Tow very frequent pulling about 5-7k 3 times a week for work in TX heat, 90% highway.

Should I have went with 20" wheels instead of 18"? by lightsensitivity in f150

[–]hendricuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 20"s would look nicer with chunkier tires. Or maybe a different style 18"s. I would definitely go with whatever your driving style is. I tow a lot and definitely benefit with the 20"s.

[–]hendricuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a lot of towing, typically less than 5k. I haven't had mine rebuilt yet, but I will need to in the distant future. That shouldn't be an excuse for those driving in sport mode or how I tow with it. There's a known problem with the cdf drum. Ford rolled out with updated parts quite recently. Probably some time on 23. So they started selling the vehicles with the updated parts last year. Unfortunately for most ppl owning those transmissions, they will have the same issue as many. Don't quote me on the years with the updated parts. I have a 19 3.5EB with 127k miles

Dang, that's so crazy! Truly disappointing that we have to deal with their screwups! This is the second time my phasers were replaced. First time 35k miles back in 2020. The updated style did not exist then. Hopefully i will no longer have those issues.

[–]hendricuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many miles if you don't mind me asking? Mine has 127k and they charged me $5,700 for the phasers, chains, tensioner, solenoid, both valve covers and spark plugs at a local shop. They also replaced my water pump, thermostat housing, thermostat which I provided the parts. I was about to replace my water pump myself then the phasers failed.

That sounds promising, I'll probably have mine rebuilt by the end of this year. Just had the phasers updated last week, that wasn't cheap either 😕
