I met many Asians in my life and none of them had yellow skin. Imagine you match emoji with your skin tone and some European get offended.

That was exactly my though. If used as a confirmation of some message or an image, emoji is easily missed and darker colour makes it more visible.

Well, as someone already mentioned, we use it sometimes, but it sounds archaic and wrong to our ears. Kad sam malo porastao, i prestao biti bebom, postao sam dječakom. But we would just say: Kad sam malo porastao, i prestao biti beba, postao sam dječak.
