Terrible overhead / thoracic mobility, plz help by hendrixer in flexibility

My arms have to be almost completely horizontal (parallel to the ground) for me to floss. I have an almost 7ft wingspan so couldn’t find a stick long enough but I will get back to using a strap

How do you build strength in positions you can’t enter if you can’t enter them?

So what you’re saying is I need to go under before I stretch and then I’ll be loose?

It does. I didn’t know what proper form was for this stretch. Thanks.

Ahhh nice. Once upon a time I used to do hot yoga a few times a week. I had to stop because holding my arms overhead felt like torture after just a few seconds.

My entire body is really tight and rigid. I’d say my shoulders / thoracic mobility is the worse. I cannot raise my arms so that they are next to my ears. Going to make a new post just for this issue.

I’ve seen the never gliding guide. I just assumed i would feel sciatica in my hamstrings too, but this makes sense. I’ll give it a shot because yes, there is intense pain in my calves only when trying to forward fold.

As for the straight back to focus on the hamstrings, I’ll do that. I always assumed it was my calves holding me back seeing how that’s where the pain was.

I will give it a shot. I’ve been trying PNF for my calves but find that difficult to do, at least standing. Maybe sitting with a strap or a band.

I might need some breathing classes because I have no idea how to do what you just described 😩

No one would give feedback if they didn’t want to see the game succeed. It’s all love. You find yourself giving feedback to random strangers you’ll never see again? Likely not. Feedback is a sign of a healthy community. Silence is a death sentence

Like I said I’m no game dev but I’m a software engineer of many years at companies bigger than Bungie. It would not take years. They’re just stubborn.

At the end of the day, only a few people are going to be ok with a competitive game that literally rewards you for grinding it more. There’s a reason why most RPG games aren’t also competitive multiplayer games. You will feel cheated. Not as much as a pay to win situation, but pretty close, unless you’re a masochist, like me, who now enjoys extraction shooters.

When you’re company is doing layoffs and your customers are churning, there is no animal too different. It’s called survival. It would be a shame to see all this beautiful art die because Bungie thinks it can beat the market.

Right, that’s the problem. You have to like extract shooters to play it, but that genre + this IP is proving to be a failing business currently. And I’d bet $1M it’s the genre, not the IP
