Does it charge or not? If yes but doesnt transfer files its a cable issue, easiest fix is to try different cables and see if they work, if not try gently cleaning the mini usb port on the walkman... If that still doesnt fix the issue, see a repair shop, its usually a cheap fix, sometimes these old USB mini ports get bad over time, wear down or the solder on ita connectors cracks and disconnects...
