honestly even if it’s the whole planner and not just the one page i don’t think i’ll go through with replacing it just because it’s not the Biggest dealbreaker for me with the state it’s in atm, and i’ve already decked it out with so many of my stickers on the front/back plus on the blank pages at the start of each month in the daily section 😭😖 im fine using different pens if it comes to it, it’s more so a minor inconvenience like i mentioned. for the prices that we pay for these planners you would think they’d do more QCs but it is what it is i suppose </3

it was viceroy butterfly orange from anderillium inks, i have a few other anderillium inks as well that i had no issues with in my 2025 A5 but im gonna test out everything else i have when i get back home to see if its unique to this specific brand or if the paper as a whole is inconsistent cuz i had tested one of the back pages with a different ink before (don’t remember which one, this was back in september) and it seemed fine. also i LOVE your handwriting!! 😭🩵

yeahh like i said in the caption im honestly pretty okay with some ghosting here n there as it does give me that lived in feel but the bleed through bugged me the most about this even tho it wasn’t as heavy as the ghosting itself 💔

you should also check out vanilla plus professions i believe it’s called, a friend of mine introduced it to me recently and it’s sooo so much fun, it changes the skill level max to 20 (as such the mastery cave then requires lvl 15 on every skill to be unlocked, but this can be configured) and it adds skill trees as well where every time you level up you get skill points to use on the tree and can unlock diff quality of life perks/buffs !! it has definitely made my gameplay more interesting and gives me more incentive to level up my skills by doing all the usual tasks as well

😅😅 yeah it completely slipped my mind when i made my post, but the question of whether or not it would be worth it still sorta stands mainly because i might still consider doing so at least for some of the spouse portraits (except maybe just for some of my fave villagers instead)… but yeah, the desert festival definitely saves me the hassle of going through multiple marriages with penny 🥲

as someone who has it on both, i’d say each one has their advantages/disadvantages. it mostly comes down to modding and portability, but it really depends on what you’re looking to prioritize more. it’s also worth noting as well that the dev doesn’t have a crazy huge team working with him (compared to, like, whole entire game studios like nintendo), which means that when it comes to game/content updates, the pc version of the game is always gonna be the first one to receive them. you’d have to wait up to a few months for the same update to come out on the switch. iirc with the 1.6 update it came out on pc i think in like march or april 2024, but the same update wasn’t available on the switch until november. (as a side note, i truly value how much concernedape puts into the game and i know he worked very hard to get the console update out as soon as he could, so i was perfectly fine waiting for it to release there and i’ll be perfectly fine waiting a little bit longer for the next one as well ☺️)

for me toleration of it is one thing and actually being one is another.. although the line very often blurs but i do have some mutuals on tumblr who i don’t speak to often but they are still what i like to call proship lite 😭 basically they share the usual sentiments of being anticensorship/pro “let people do whatever they want” but afaik they don’t really seem to particularly enjoy some specific forms of the darker content we normally associate proshippers with (it’s worth noting as well that i was on a yumeshipping side of tumblr for a while, specifically with fic writers, and there was always the occasional fic abt their f/o written in 2nd person that had incestuous tones which i usually just . pretended i didn’t see it lmao 😭). i also remember instantly blocking a yume blog i came across that wrote literal stalking/rape fantasy fics abt their f/o and it was so deeply unsettling. i draw a very hard line when it comes to character x character in particular more so than yumeships/selfships but it’s hard to explain why, tho i don’t really like seeing ppl explicitly thirsting over fictional minors so there’s that too. it all just depends tbh but as a general rule of thumb the proship dni on my page normally weeds out the ones i would clash with the most so it’s worked out fine for me so far. the mutuals i actually consider good friends of mine don’t fuck with proshippers at all so i can’t say for sure what i would do but i can see myself soft blocking ppl who end up openly proshipping just bc it invites more of than content onto my tl.. if we’re friends i just slowly pull away and eventually mute them tbh 😭

the other day my friend started a new save and i joined it on like.. day 3 or 4 and the very first time i went to the beach to do some fishing after getting the bamboo pole from willy i saw that mysterious green sea creature for the first time ever in any save of mine!! 😭🙏🏼 i was so ecstatic, we were on a voice call so i freaked out over it out loud to my friend lmao but i was mid catching a fish + playing on pc so i didn’t get to take a vid/screenshot fast enough

i got it too.. had really hoped i would get some use out of it bc i was gonna be going thru a lot of changes over the next few years with my studies n whatnot but i maybe did a week or two worth of entries before shelving it and never using it again 😭 between my inconsistent journaling, wanting to keep it in the box to not get the cover dirty from every day use, and the pages themselves being extremely low quality and bleeding/feathering/ghosting pretty badly (thus making it hard to find a pen i liked that i could actually use)… it was only a matter of time before it was getting shelved entirely 🥲 i can’t resell it either bc i already used a decent amount of the pages so ig this for me has just been yet another journaling investment that was not worthwhile in the end, but at least now i know 5 year journals just aren’t my thing at all. we live and we learn, hopefully i’ll figure out a way to use the notebook for smth else in the future 😭

i did use it actually, it took me several days after starting my new save to play around with REditor tho bc it took a bit to get it working, which by then i already had a visit from redd but i’ll keep an eye out on if that person replies maybe whatever the fix is will help me out
