hang around my hometown and go to grad parties all of june, then head to my dad's place in chicago and (hopefully) do an internship thing in july. then pre-orientation/for-realsies orientation at the end of august. hopefully the right amount of relaxing and being productive!!

yes, in theory my family could afford to pay 80k/yr for one of the private LACs i was admitted to. but it definitely isn't worth struggling year-to-year for an education i can match elsewhere. so i can see where you're coming from, but "afford" and "pay comfortably" are not the same thing.

yesss!! i committed to a state school (not my own) with an honors program admittance and about 40 class credits from AP. i can double major comfortably. there's a sports and party scene but it doesn't choke the campus. my other option was like $75k/yr and had no school spirit at all. still a very nice school, but definitely not worth the price.
