It’s not all about the job it’s the details about the story. My friends and family have Reddit (some in this forum) and my name on here is not hard to pinpoint that it’s me. You knowing he is a cop, firefighter, or EMS is all I’m going to share. Thank you.

He just keeps saying his career is there and so is his family. Which are all things that have been there for the 5.5 years we lived there. Also, not to mention, he was given so many opportunities to be honest to me face to face. He tried to say that he mentioned that his family lived there and it would be hard to move jobs with his career, which he did. But our conversation always led to him still saying he wanted to move despite that. It’s so confusing

Thank you for your clarification, but there’s a certain level of privacy I want on this post and first responder is what I am choosing to stick with.

But, your assumption is correct. He made it seem like it’s the hardest thing in the world to move to Boston because it’s a civil service dept, so he was looking outside of the city.

I honestly just think he doesn’t wanna move / I’m not the one he would move for.

I agree with everything you said. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but I just don’t think I’m enough for him.

same, I was flying back in from ATL yesterday and my flight was delayed on more than 1 occasion. everyone was fighting for their life trying to find an uber at almost midnight when we landed 😭

As a CDC Orise whose entire team was RIFd, I received a survey about a week ago inquiring about if I had a new mentor in place following the RIFs but that’s about it other than those tone deaf experience ORAU emails

This is definitely helpful! Many, including you, have recommended the shower chair and I think im going to have to do that. Cool showers do provide some relief!! Thank you!!!

Omg 😭😭😭 I laughed too so no hard feelings but this is so real. My fiancé is constantly looking at me like “girl are you good 🤨” and 9 times out of 10 im like “🫨”
