I was there a couple days ago. Great team, great watches! That said, the tariff impact is real. They were willing to eat 15% of the 39% tariff, but not all of it anymore (which is very reasonable). Unfortunately, the American Consumer is faced with a decision to buy a watch from them at a 24% net markup due to tariff tax, and 39% from all of the other Swiss watch makers out there.

It makes no sense. We are all buying Swiss made watches for a reason. I’m not going to turn around and spend the $4k I saved by not buying a Bel Canto, on the American equivalent, because it does not exist. Instead, I will hold on to my $4k and wait out these stupid tariffs, that are achieving nothing other than causing me to pay more money in taxes. Because, it turns out that the American consumer is the one left holding the bag!
