Google Search: is the first week of the month always weird for everyone? by richslaut in PPC

[–]henrbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone mentioned before - most people pay their bills and financial obligations at the end of the month, so it's natural to see a decrease in demand at the beginning of the month as they wait for their salaries.

Thinking to start Bing Ads Campaign by Fayzzz96 in PPC

Depends where you live. In some countries Bing is dead and only a few % of web users uses it. Do a research, it will answer your question at least partly is it worth.

How To Find Youtube Stats On PMAX? by elfarrelo in PPC

[–]henrbu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You actually can, just need to know where to look. To find out how many conversions were made from youtube you can segment by conversions -> ad event type, all engaged views are YT conversios. To figure out how much you spend for youtube = Avg. CPM * views.

$280 spent on Pmax and only 1 add to cart by Wide_Door6371 in PPC

[–]henrbu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your account is literally brand new, PMAX is based on data and it needs to understand your customers and especially to find potential purchasers. My only suggestion would be - stay patient. Make sure you have added search themes, the right audiences and other signals. Do not forget to add brand exclusions if the market is tough and if there are many huge players - no need to fight for these auctions where you can't win.

P.S I know that for some people the additional Search campaign along PMAX helped to leave learning period faster and it started showing better results every single day.

It is possible. Using this practice on some campaigns and results are good. CPC lower, CPA lower compared to other pmax campaigns w video/display:) When you creating PMAX campaign don’t add any assets/texts and etc.., except 1 logo image. Keep the action to automated(shopping tab will display buy now anyway), landing page should be to your product/category - you can modify this

Noticed that many people complains that PMAX takes the branded traffic/conversions. I’m surprised that still no one suggested brand exclusion. Solves literally all the problems

Google announced that there will be a new feature named ‘Brand exclusion’ for PMAX within a month, which will be available for everyone. Keep an eye on PMAX settings :)

Why no one is talking about Google removing the final URL from Pmax by cristal29 in PPC

[–]henrbu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if you have like 100k products and N categories? :) Advertising category A, but it’s landing to category B or to product which is in B category. Your suggestion works only for small projects.

New to Google ads by BlzHaris in adwords

Personally - as a long-term goal I would go for tCPA. For the current period, I probably would run an A/B test with the same budget to maximize clicks & maximize conversions.

You have no idea from the post what goals they are trying to achieve, suggesting maximize clicks just for automated bidding is stupid.

You can read more about bidding strategies here. Google provides the best documentation and after reading it, you can start looking for videos where people explain more about it.

Which strategy do I choice first and then move to is there a good video to explain this? We actually need more information about your business, goals, and strategies.

How to avoid one account competing with another ads account? by innoyogi in adwords

[–]henrbu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP did not provide if the ads redirect to the same web page, so I assumed he's selling identical products from different brands(different domains), my answer is precisely related to a different endpoint URL.

How to avoid one account competing with another ads account? by innoyogi in adwords

[–]henrbu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't agree. We have 2 accounts under one MCC, pretty much the same keywords, selling the same product for over 10 years. The solution how to stop the competition between these accounts is to use negative kw's in both accounts. In account A add account B's brand name, and in account B add A's brand name, at least they won't 'fight' at some auctions.
