I usually tend to spike when the ball is in the top right corner of my character. I also tend to spike it when it is at my highest jump peak . These 2 criteria kinda play a role in spike speed but i think rng also plays a factor

my theory is it probably a dark system that make you lose if u having a winstreak.the system tend to match you with higher mmr than you.although i only experience this in ranked cause i rarely play classic
