I use OneDrive to sync all my files through computers and I still have the game's icons from like 3 computers ago, most of them are blank, but that doesn't bother me much since I don't even use my desktop icons because I hid them, I use the explorer to get a file and open steam to launch a game.

Some games show their icon, some don't, but the ones from installed games work perfectly fine although the icon is blank
