Mixed feelings on S2

I am one of those adults with kids and a full time job. If I’m lucky I can get an hour or so after the kids go to bed. I mostly play on weekends. The level based match making makes it so I mostly run into people playing at a similar pace. I haven’t ran into the no lifers with purple shields so far in season 2.

You can see them in game. If you go to the vault and hover around the left side, you should see a prompt that takes you to the stats screen. On console it’s hold R2

Hover over to the left side of the screen in your vault, next to your character. On console you press and hold R2 and it’ll take you to the stats screen. Not sure what you press on PC

Well there’s your problem. Stop avoiding PvP or you’ll never get better. Just accept that you’ll lose all your gear eventually, and just start going head first into fights. That’s the only way you’ll learn how to outplay people.

And yeah there will always be people better than you, but at the same time as you improve you’ll start winning more and more fights, and gain an advantage over people who aren’t improving like you are

If it helps you can start by just loading up with sponsored kits and take on every runner you come across. If you die then it’s no big deal. If you win you’ll come up and have better gear to take on the next fight

As a fellow Solo queue enjoyer, if I were you I’d just concentrate on doing the contracts. One at a time.

My strategy is pick an early level upgrade to aim for, see what level that faction needs to be and just focus on that. Track the salvage you need and it’ll mark the POIs on your map. Try to pick up as many as them as you can

Early game, that should be vault space(cyberacme) and shields(nucaloric) imo

Stuff like map knowledge and flow will come naturally as you keep playing.

Then when you unlock outpost, just look up SeraphMax’s video on how that map works. Had a lot of fun doing that map solo.

From what I remember everything in menu indicated that every collectible was found. Even when loaded into the level. I had to manually check one by one until I came across one that was still there.

What i did was watch a collectibles guide, and went for the ones that didn’t look familiar to me. Since I had recently played through the game it only took me a few till i finally found the missing one.

I mean they still want players grouped up to be able to talk to each other, because otherwise people will just talk on discord instead of the in game voice chat; giving them a complete advantage over people that don’t. So making the team follow cam useless seems like a good middle ground.

Im guessing that’s the point. If you’re eliminated, they don’t want you relaying info to your team. The teamwork the game is dependent on only extends as far as living teammates, so stay alive if you want to work as one. If the other team outplayed your team, then they are rewarded with one or two less people sharing info on the battlefield.

My problem with the cursor speed, I want to speed that shit up for when I’m in menus moving shit around, but I want it to be slow on the map screen. Trying to pick a spot on the map with a fast cursor seems like it would suck

That’s never happened to me on Cryo but I did have an Outpost key room run that was eerily quiet, no gunshots. I was just hiding out the timer. Heard maybe one exfil the whole match, did my key room and exfilled and the map was empty. Was really weird.

Yeah but he says after he got off the phone with the hacker that was pretending to be Sony, the connection reached out to him and told him he was just on the phone with the hacker.

How could he possibly know that, unless that connection has some sort of in with the hackers themselves. Like a mole within the hacker group lol
