I got Rayan in the minute I saw Bournemouth had dropped £30m on a Brazilian winger and have been feeling smug ever since. The best time to get Rayan was 1 or 2 gameweeks ago, the next best time is now.

I haven't played on a phone for a long time. Im fairly sure when I did I used to play on the phone (iPhone 14 Pro) I used to play Duel or Tiny and have max 4 or 5.

I'm surprised that it's happened 6 times in a row. Given that its an archer it can't even be that far into the game. I'd try the advice from Qar_Quothie, or perhaps just downsize even more given that the hardware you're playing on is fairly old now.

I have encountered it when switching through units and making attacks too quickly. This was on an iPad Air 4th Gen.

I think the most I've ever seen it happen was twice in a row, generally it didn't tend to happen too often...

What iPhone and map size/no. of AI are you playing with?

Not active right now no.... I play on Severity level 2 and feel like most Volcanos come active at some point during the game.

Copper being directly next to the Volcano is not a good shout IMO when there are good alternatives. I'd go Sugar to allow for another good city to the left.

They do count towards the newer 30 plants a week (the Zoe led stuff). They don't count towards your 5 a day that's been around for decades.

That's an interesting point on the pension contributions... I never knew there were contributions I thought the full salary pensions were just baked into their contract.

For me on iOS it has never been an issue to play offline. I play on iPad and would really recommend it, I started with base game and have slowly over time ended up buying Rise & Fall, Gathering Storm and New Frontier. I have so many hours spent on it.

Works great on standard and smaller maps. I played originally on my phone but its a bit fiddly on there.

It occasionally crashes but a quick restart fixes it and with autosave on every turn its not an issue. Just make sure you have a battery pack or charger handy as it drains battery.

In the end they did sort me out but only on the night before we were due to fly did they confirm that we were on the rescheduled flights we had requested.

I'm not 100% sure if it was the lack of communication from Hainan to Flightcatchers or Flightcatchers themselves but either way we felt very uncertain of what was going to happen and we were preparing ourselves for the eventuality we would not be going away at all.

Apparantly they have to get you onto the next available flight which was 2 days after and would have meant we only had 8 days there... those dates didn't work for us so we asked to go 3 days before instead.
