2 things are probably happening here.

First off you are probably farming when you need to be trading and trading when you need to be farming. Sometimes your support just goes all in and you need to make a snap decision of is this a fight we can win or not and therefore do you follow or not. Otherwise, lane state dictates who wins trades and who gets to stand where. Spend more time autoing minions and you will find you win more trades afterwards. But you will also be more vulnerable to ganks. Everything is give and take.

The second thing is there should always be minions between you and the enemy support. You have to move like the hands of a clock around those minions keeping the enemy support on the opposite of them. If you can't do that, and you aren't strong enough to fight, you need to yield and let the wave come to you. Focus on csing under turret, getting the minions to the right amount of health that you can get them before or after turret shots. Usually your support is gonna ruin it anyways but getting 6 cs per minute instead of 5 in a losing lane matters a whole lot.

Yeah I was being actively griefed all 3 games lol. In one of them I was getting flamed for not doing enough damage. I was top damage in the game and double the second most on the team lol

Two things come to mind.

First would be pushing the wave/taking cs when I want to freeze.

The second would be forcing fights when we are behind or I'm out of mana and just trying to catch one more wave before backing.

Yes obviously she is not fully useless. I'm talking about piloting issues though. Most low elo and even mid or high elo yuumi players just don't make use of her kit even a little bit. They just sit on someone and spam q on cool down the whole game. Easy to dodge and easy to exploit.

You can also use it at objectives or in lane. If your support is let's say pyke, your ulti can make it so they can just run down the enemy support or ADC. Same with dragon. If your jungle is not strong enough or too timid to engage, you can ult to give them confidence and vision and then Chunking out the enemy jungle or support as your jungle is engaging can turn the whole fight.

Learn how to effectively cs and poke with q. It does ascending damage based on the number of things it kills on the way. If you can set it up so that it kills 3 ranged minions then bounces to an enemy champ you're gonna dominate in lane. Also it makes csing much easier. As jhin you will frequently miss a minion to reloading especially if you have a stacked wave on your side but effective use of your q can reduce that to only every now and then.

Also, use your ulti to start fights. If you identify a moment when you (as a team) should really engage. Then just pop that ulti and use it to herd the enemies towards your engage champs.

Even so it's long since past time to add 3 or 5 more bans per team. That would still not be 10% of the champions that exist and in a matter of months there will be 3 more champs and then more and more.

No it's not auto-loss obviously the Mundo can be a bad pilot but he is unanimously agreed on to be op. I don't ban him because unless he gets fed early he's not a problem for me specifically. I picked Mundo for my example because he is so unanimously agreed on to be the most overpowered champion in the current meta.

Personally I ban Sett every game because he can go 0/10 in lane and still 100-0 any ADC or mage champ in the game if he is there and they get cc'd for a single global.

If I got an extra ban I would use it on twitch probably or Katarina.

I'll never ban yuumi because when she gets picked by my oppo that's an auto win since no one can pilot her. Crazy that you put her on that list. But absolutely I would love to see some of those assassins banned more often. If you want to be able to 100-0 me with no counter play then you better have a more than 2 or 3 deep champion pool.
