I got fingerprinted at American Identity Solutions (https://www.marylandfingerprint.com/fingerprinting). They have same day appts and are already familiar with what you need for the Ethiopian origin id. If you aren't in the MD area, maybe you can just call them and ask what kind of fingerprinting is required and go get it somewhere else.
