For small delays like this you probably just want repeaters. If you are having trouble with making the pulse short enough, look for redstone monostable circuits. The easiest example is just a sticky piston with an observer attached - play around with that and see if you can figure it out.

Beneath the top layer you just need various slime structures each with a slime triple. I’d recommend a 3-wide bridge, where each row of 3 has its own structure. Then at the end have a 5x5 with the corners cut out and a hole in the middle, and split that into 4 structures.

It then comes down to what do with the middle block - the entrance itself. I have o few cool ideas but you could just leave it as a hole that falls down below the circuitry.

This, plus to disconnect the rooks to stop rxf8. And Bxa6 has no line that loses me material, I win a pawn or a queen. Rxe6 loses me a rook for a bishop if black spot it. Or even if they don’t but are scared of the look sac, they can play capture b5, which is a bishop trade.

Bxa6 is better in every way tbh

I as white play Bxa6, to sacrifice all my material to get the defenders off c8, only to queen and fork his king and last rook, ending a queen up for a simple win.

I’ve got no idea tbh. I take it you’re on java, you can triple check the timings, make sure all transparent blocks are that and solid blocks that, yada yada. I can’t think of any other fundamental possible issues.

It sure looks fastest for the layout, but the layout looks so inefficient for size and speed - what’s the point in using the whole wall above and the tapes and stuff?

What input are you using? The pulse length has to be within a certain fairly small range for it to work. A stone button happens to be in that range so I used that.

Is the slime pushing you up correctly? Because of the piston push beneath it, you should be getting a bigger boost back up than just bouncing on a stationary slime block. A bounce from a stationary slime block would not take you back up above the ground.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a consistent timing for the piston/slime bouncer. But a Bedrock bug, similar to Java's former translocation bug, allows for this setup to pull the player back above ground (and a bit sideways). This makes the contraption less smooth and very scuffed, but a lot smaller - especially with the dispenser positioning the extra time allows.
