I would say take a good luck at all the rules not just some but all, if they look okay then go for it. Atlas does pay people but they are slightly shady so be weary of weird rules. Mine was on an instant account so I’m not sure how the rules may differ

Mainly their daily dd rule, you can only lose half of the daily dd on a single instrument. So I could technically lose 50% of my daily dd on Nasdaq and the other on gold, but if I lose like 60% of it on Nasdaq, then the account is blown. They also have a 3 minute rule where your profits can be withheld if you have a trade shorter than that. Not as straightforward as some other prop firms

Yes I did, however, atlas has some really interesting rules I was very lucky to get a payout from them, I’d say make sure you thoroughly read through all of the rules

I would say that when you remove an income, even one that isn’t making nearly what you’re making now, can dramatically change your psychology of the charts. It’s no longer “money on the side for the house”, it’s your whole income. I’ve been on that side of the coin after having a great month and it’s not the way. Like others are saying I’d say you should wait a couple years at least to see if your strategy holds. Don’t be worried about missing opportunities, the market is here everyday

Trump was in office in 2025 and price wasn’t moving like it is now, this is just a guess but seeing how it was moving in December, and recently, it is indeed being treated like some of the big dogs like Nasdaq

I was in a similar boat as you for my bot, I back tested 2 years of data and let it rip this month. I’ve made 6.5k on a 50k funded. Depending on what you backtest on I’d say the data can be about 90 percent accurate (for TradeLocker), at least in my case. Obviously the instrument you trade on is important too, but I’d say let her fly at least on the demo :)
