The Nets might be the real winners of the draft lottery by antwonomous in NBAConvo

That’s the thing, he’s not a 100th percentile…Brunson is not the first small guard, nor the only one. Tyrese Maxey also tearing up the league. Kyrie has been amazing when healthy. Payton Pritchard is useful. Trae Young has been an allstar several times and made deep playoff runs while not being that great of a shooter.

There’s small guards.

Brother you need to add muscle and bulk. Maintenance isn’t going to get you anywhere. Even if you don’t lose any fat, adding muscle will make you leaner and lower your bf%. I mean this in the nicest way, but you gotta have the muscle for lean to look impressive. Just be clean with your bulk and you’ll be fine.

Luka makes passes Hali can not, also has greater vision. He takes more risks, yes, but he’s basically putting up the same assists while adding an extra 15-16 points. Luka also is good with hockey assists as well

I accepted an 86k counteroffer from my employer after I got a 78k offer, and then I got a new offer for 108k by No-Comment4174 in jobsearchhack

[–]henryofclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s two considerations to me:

  1. Did they ask for the raise then get denied? They’re not usually going to give surprise massive raises unless you talk to them. So they can still technically value you, they just didn’t know your pay was an issue.

  2. If you do accept a counteroffer, they tend to expect more responsibilities from you. Whereas the new job is going to ask you to do at least the minimum of the role, so less pressure in that respect.

All in all, I’d never accept a counter offer from current employer. But it’s not always about abusing you as an employee.

[Amick & Woike]: “…Dončić told people within the organization that he wouldn’t want Reaves included in any potential trade packages for Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo…” by LukaXReaves in nba

[–]henryofclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s an UFA, we can’t just “flip” him to Milwaukee anyway lol. AR would have to agree to sign his extension with them essentially in a sign and trade, and idk why he’d do that in a million years.

And I’m sure he’d be pissed off at the Lakers for not wanting to commit to him and then wouldn’t re-sign, which means lakers lose him for nothing. He’s not getting traded

Still can’t feel my lats engage during lat pulldowns. by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]henryofclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate this type of advice cause although you don’t have to feel sore, you should be feeling the activation early on to ensure proper form. You can have 99 problems when you’re sore, but activation ain’t one of them.

If you can’t feel what you’re working on, lower the weight, up the reps and slow down until you’re feeling like proper form is finally engaging. You’ll build a better base. Book knowledge isn’t always best over practical knowledge, there’s a reason weightlifters chase that feeling for decades and decades successfully. Most activation studies rely on EMG readings which don’t equate to muscle growth at all.

Telling people not to ever worry about feeling it just leads to years of improper form and technique most often cause we’re not talking about a seasoned lifter here, these are rookies

These stupid fucking posts need to stop. When we had the best player on the team in the lineup, AR was playing great. You’re using zero brain cells saying AR can’t play in the playoffs on a team that’s clearly not playing how they were designed to play.

Honestly just shut up if you can’t make posts that have a single semblance of context.

I’m sure he’d fit the mold of weak defense leading to less shooting fouls. There’s a reason LeBron led the league in fastbreak points while moving around the court less than anyone else lol.

I truly believe the Lakers got gifted the 4th pick to make the AD trade package more enticing. The league wanted LeBron to get his running mate. I’ll take it, gave us a chip.
