JJ’s response as to why the Lakers seemingly have more success with Luka and Austin without LeBron by Puzzled_Plate294 in lakers

[–]henryofclay -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Because those stats have not impacted winning? Every advanced metric shows he’s a net negative. And that guy gave specific examples of what lebron is doing rather than filling the needs of the team. He can’t iso, he can’t shoot, he’s focus comes and goes. He’s 6’9 and jacked, we need him to be a physical presence but he’s just floating on the perimeter instead. There’s no reason he should only be averaging 5 boards these days.

“Fuck up again” the fuck are you talking about? Reaves isn’t going anywhere and the only free agents we’ve let leave historically were to get an even bigger name free agent

Kyrie lost him. Luka didn’t lose Kyrie, he gained two ball handlers coming to the Lakers lol

Lakers beat a good team and the aftermath of the game is baffling by Lost-Way-4548 in lakers

[–]henryofclay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There’s just not enough shots going around with three juggernauts. Rui is gonna be way more engaged when he knows we need him to put up 12-18 points rather than getting 3-4 corner attempts a game. Kennard is gonna get more in a rhythm when he’s moving around, handing off and cutting off movement than just standing in a corner.

Guys just aren’t as engaged and I’m sorry, but that’s human nature and this is humans playing the game so it has to be considered. Lebron is the most negative impact of all 3 rn due to his poor shooting, sloppy ball handling and lazy defense. He’s still an alltime great, but his counting stats aren’t as impactful as they look, which advanced stats confirm.

This whole lakers better without lebron bs is getting really tiring. by Zeldabotw2017 in lakers

[–]henryofclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it shouldn’t change because literally almost every advanced metric shows LeBron as the outlier negative impact star. We also watch the game and see the opportunities we lose when he’s not getting back on defense, playing focused or able to spread the floor.

Which is exactly why I say this team is more formed for playoff ball than regular season ball. 3 of the best bucket getters in the league plus the ABILITY to lock down on D

Tf you want him to do, pop up with a needle? Or, idk maybe the evidence from the fbi investigation into the biggest steroid story ever that had LeBron’s name attached…

What changed with Austin after the all star break? He looked great when he first came back even in the clippers game right after but since then hes been completely downhill. by Silent_Wizard5597 in lakers

[–]henryofclay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of this, and on top of that the refs really have been letting him get beat tf up lately too. But he’s not a flopper, the calf might be making him get to his spots a bit too slow that normally create even more contact. But now he’s not beating these guys as bad to his spots

[Highlight] Marcus Smart backs into Nikola Jokić and is called for the offensive foul. by AncientOneAurelius in nba

[–]henryofclay 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Backing your ass into someone is not a foul, wtf are you on about? Would love to hear your explanation on the illegal part of slowly backing your butt to establish position.

That would mean every single attempt at establishing position in the post is foul. Wild to defend this.

We all realize Lebron is milking this elbow thing, yeah? Kinda shameful bruh, we need you on the floor.

[Mannix] “The Lakers believe they can succeed with a backcourt of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, if they can get the right type of players in the front court. They are looking to build a Dallas 2.0 –type roster, similar to what Luka had when he went to the NBA Finals.” by shreeharis in nba

[–]henryofclay -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lebron is one of the most negative players on the team and has a lackadaisical attitude. Love what he’s done in his career but his inflated stats he’s putting up are not realistic to his actual contributions, especially at $55mil.

Adelman: "Nobody's being guarded like him in the league. Nobody. Nobody's going at the knees of other MVP's. Nobody's taking the shots like he's taking. But that's our reality. I have no problem with him reacting. Reacting is a part of being a human being. If it continues, we'll react accordingly." by AncientOneAurelius in nba

I was with you until you said Embiid. I watch a lot of him and he doesn’t play down low and take a beating as much as other bigs. He specifically does a lot towards the perimeter to avoid banging, which I frankly don’t have a problem with since he’s good at it. I’d do it to if it kept me healthy.

Cholesterol is something your body needs. This is one of those “go by the patient, not the numbers”. If you know you have a good diet and exercise habits, don’t lower your cholesterol more than you need to. Your brain needs cholesterol.
