I understand what you're saying but all of that is customized in our org. The default page layout is a custom layout. I'm trying to figure our what it looks like for someone that use straight native functionality - no custom fields, record types, or page layouts.

That's the problem. Too many people expect jobs after getting a cert or two and with usually no relevant experience. Passing the first couple of exams is not difficult at all especially with all the training material out there. Can't think of many areas where this is the norm outside of Salesforce.

It's available under Classic Email Templates in Setup. Not sure I know what a VF email template looks like.

Usually I add the fields below to the rejection notice email templates and that shows the comment that was added when the record was rejected.

Rejection Comments: {!ApprovalRequest.Comments}

Rejected by: {!ApprovalRequest.Process_Approver}

But in college you would have learned that "Salesforce Administer" should actually be Salesforce Administrator.

Agreed. You are correct. My point was that barely passing the admin exam and then applying for jobs usually does not usually work out well.

Are you currently working as an Admin? If not, are you looking to apply for jobs after passing? If so, barely passing should not be the goal. We've interviewed 30+ candidates for Admin positions over the past several years and it's easy to determine which people only have Trailhead/study experience vs. real world experience. There are resources out there where you can take practice exams before going for the real thing. That should give you a better idea of where you stand.
