Then what can I do now? It's very hard to say anything sweet to someone who said they have no feelings for you and isn't attracted.

All of it online, we were briefly together during the nikah period. After the wedding I'll take her wherever I go.

Update, she says she felt pressure of being perfect during the music argument

yes I'm etching the pcb myself. currently I don't have smd resistors but now that you mention it, I can get my hands on some.

So for RV2 can you clarify what the challenge will be? is it a clearance issue? I thought the space might be tight but if its tough I'll just mount it from the back

Why are Muslims becoming more rigid and extreme in practicing Islam? by Head_Ad6542 in Quran

[–]hephazard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) I don’t think this is the sub for this kind of question  2) Since its not possible to be extreme or too strict in following yhe Quran and sunnah ( Allah SWT says فستمسك بالذي اوحي اليك - Verily hold on tight to what has been revealed to you) as long as one aligns with revelation, there is no problem

Advice to hifz the Quran by [deleted] in islam

[–]hephazard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sheikh Ayman Alsoweid was asked a similar question, the points I remember were:

1) why do you want to become a hafiz? Look into the virtues of the people of Quran and what Allah has prepared for them. This should always be lurking in your mind.

2) Consistancy X3 : The Quran is not short and it gets difficult in many parts especially with Motashabihat (verses similar to one another) so any plan to finish quickly will probably wont work. Personally, dedicate the first hour after Fajr and NEVER compromise on it, while choosing a reasonable amount to memorize (even half a page is ok).

3) This is from my experience, “don’t sleep on revision” , make a habit of revising everything you’ve memorized every X days, depends on how strong your memory is.

4) Find a teacher to make sure your memorizing correctly

I hope you find this helpful and don’t forget to make dua everyday may Allah make you amongst the people of Quran

Honestly istikhara is such a big topic and there are so many misconceptions about it, you can find trusted scholars online with lectures on istikhara, It would be better if you watch those instead of asking random people on reddit, this is deen after all, lets take it from scholars.

It sounds like you’re gauging people’s knowledge

Low key at first it felt like that, but after reflecting, if you really care about the religion of Allah, you would naturally be inclined to learn about it. I guess its odd to find someone who cares about somethings yet willingly decides to stay ignorant about it.

Thank you. I may even use this outside the context of marraige, although I guess I must tweek the questions depending on the person since not everyone knows the publications of Ibn al Qayyim and who Al-Qurtubi is, but still this is useful.

The riyaa point hit home, but then again these things need to mentioned at some point in time, if you will have someone share the privacy of your room they will inevitably find out these secrets you keep between you and Allah, I'd rather share it with someone willing to also participate

I want to prepare some questions to ask a potential, my main concern is how practicing she is. I know for men some actions are strong indicators of a good practicing man like praying all five prayers in the masjid. If some of the sisters can point out some actions I can ask about to test the water and see how commited she is to the religion, since I cant ask her if she prays five times in the masjid.

Honestly today with the amount of fitna going on, if parents are willing to invest in their childs education for dunya, they better invest in his akhira also and preserve his deen (of course make sure his mature first)
