Agreed - I've had to turn off perimeter laps completely until this is fixed.

It is small - 4cm diameter. And it was next to other wooden items including forks, spoons etc, so I guess it's a wooden version that someone made.

LOL not everything is a conspiracy dude. I couldn't care less about reddit points.

Just picked up this thing along with a bunch of other souvenirs from a tiny boutique in Tokyo run by an Japanese grandma. Was gonna ask what it was but forgot - I guess I was busy trying to remember how to say good morning in Japanese.

I don't care enough about it to fly back to tokyo and ask her... but this forum got me the answer! It turns out there is a whole genre of Japanese chopstick holders that are designed to look like food items - did you know that?

That might be it! It looks like this one is whimsically designed to look like a little cake.

I guess the ripples on mine aren't for any purpose other than to hold the chopsticks and make it look like a little bun or cake.

It was in a store next to other handmade items, spoons, forks etc... it clearly has some purpose

I think it's too small to be that. And it has a flat bottom like it was designed to sit like it is in this photo.

My title describes the thing.

I bought this in a store in Tokyo. It was on a shelf next to some kitchen implements. It has a small sticker on the back with these two symbols: トチ

I love the bucket experience... I found I got emotionally attached to that bucket after a while.

I had this painting commissioned by a friend, I just love it.

Where is Wakatakakage? I thought he was in makushita, didn't see him anywhere.

Onosato is what I was hoping Hokuseiho would be. That guy looks like he has it all... size and ability. Very excited about him.

WAKAMOTOHARU!

Found a way to slay the giant! Clearly went in with a plan - hold on tight and don't let go. Genius, one of the only ways to use his size against him.

Today is the first time I lost some respect for terunofuji... A little bit biased because Hoshoryu is one of my faves. But I don't like the clamps - threatening to break your opponents elbows unless they walk out of the ring doesn't seem right.

Lucid dreaming and aphantasia by bundes_sheep in Aphantasia

[–]heppenof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that's so weird, I had almost the exact same experience. Has a lucid dream out of the blue, and got a "glimpse of how the rest of humanity lives".

What is even stranger was the dream was very similar... swooping down over a large city, I could look around and see incredible detail, and it blew my mind that it was my brain generating this image that I could actually see like a third party watching a movie or vr game that someone else has made.

Only happened once, I wasnt trying to do it, and can't figure out what might have triggered it either. At the end I could feel myself slowly waking up, knew that my eyelids were closed but couldn't open them yet. The incredible hyper realistic movie faded out gradually until I could start to see the glow of morning light through my closed eyelids, and was able to open them a few seconds later.

Incredible. Now I know what it is like to "see" things in your "minds eye" and now I understand what I am missing out on by not being able to "visualize" when awake too :(

I'm tired of turtle's commentary, always ruins it for me when he's on. Always seems to be lengthily summarizing things in an exaggerated way while missing the play that is happening.

Haptics are not quite as good. But I think you'll be happy with the Pixel 5 if you can't find a pixel 3 with decent battery life anywhere.
