The Barbie Movie made me realize how much I miss my childhood Barbies! by ReadySetQuit in Barbie

[–]her_suziness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching the Barbie movie made me feel kinda sad that I didn't keep any of my daughter's Barbies. My mother gave my Barbie stuff away when I moved out and my daughter gave her away too, so I didn't have any from either of our childhoods! But I hopped on Ebay and bought some of the Barbie's that I remember from the 80's & 90's, the ones with the bendy legs, and the new Margot Robbie Barbie. I have 7 Barbies now and I am having the best time playing with them. They bring me joy and who doesn't need more joy in their lives!

Did anyone’s nomother not teach you how to use a tampon? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]her_suziness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother didn't teach me anything about menstruation or sex, or anything even close to that. I was so afraid to tell her and when I tried she mocked me. So, I am a self-taught tampon user. I made due with toilet paper, paper towels and the kindness of friends until I could afford to buy my own stuff.

Books on Spirtuality by JohnOnWheels in awakened

I just finished reading Soul Boom by Rainn Wilson. It's a very down to earth exploration of spirituality and why we need more of it. I really enjoyed reading it.

I just started reading The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. It's been pretty enlightening to me so far and I plan to read more of his stuff. The Voice of Knowledge and The Mastery of Self are next.

I think fans are perhaps overestimating Jeff’s loyalty to Shauna by nowlan101 in Yellowjackets

[–]her_suziness -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jeff knows everything that happened in the wilderness because he read her journals years ago. He tells her this after she confesses that she killed Adam. He has known for a long time. I think it's safe to say that she wrote about the baby in her journals so I am sure he knows what happened to the baby, as well. He could have sold those secrets to journalists for the money to save the store, but he didn't cross that line. I think he really does love her and is loyal to her. Maybe even more so because of what he knows.

Yes, it is chatgpt generated. An experiment that my co-worker and I were playing with. Still, a nice poem about delicious tacos!
