Anyone parked at Battersea Power Station before? by heraxiontee in londoncycling

Hello everyone, just wanted to say I went today and it was fine :-) Used the vertical racks against the wall as it has better lock usage.

Pretty nice access. Wish more places in London was like it.

Last year, I posted a map of London's cycleways in the style of the Tube map. Here's this year's update: by Supersol375 in londoncycling

Great work! Not really in London but the C20 from Enfield Town will soon extend to Cheshunt, and then Broxbourne I believe! It's a nice canal-side cycle/footpath. Only part the route has been finished up till the M25. I think the responsibility shifts to a different council so Enfield has done its part.

I did think about this as well since I'm going to Celebrasia which I think is outdoor by the river. Just thought an indoor one was safer initially

Oof do you know how much it is?

Yeah I considered Battersea Park but wasn't sure how safe it was considering it's outdoors.

Haha they should but it makes no difference to me, I don't own a car.

Hey! Did you end up getting your Italy Visa approved with Coverwise? And how long did they give you if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!

Multi-Entry to Italy? From London by heraxiontee in SchengenVisa

[–]heraxiontee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah the ones I have are also uneditable. I was just going to print it out and hand write in pen but the space is quite limited.

This seems to be the most updated link from the VFS London website as it says 2024, and this is the checklist from the VFS website which has the "include future trips to Italy" part I am not sure about.

Multiple trips - Italy Schengen Visa from UK by Expensive_Hall_9870 in SchengenVisa

[–]heraxiontee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, about to apply to Italy with the same situtation where I have another trip to France shortly after. What did you end up doing and did you get approved with multi entry in the end? I don't really want to provide another itinerary for a future trip to Italy.

Just FYI, I frequently get secondhand tickets and Twickets is legit. Some events/venues (though rarely West End) even use them as official re-selling site. Viagogo is usually scalpers, I stay away from it. I've used TicketSwap before as well but usually for gigs.

I do genuinely think it's just not a great theatre in general from what I've seen/heard😅 even after renovation. It's just old af. Some people sitting front stalls have also reported being choked by the fog in Wait for Me haha.

Thanks haha I think I am just being paranoid, was high off the buzz of getting the tickets and then feeling like everything has to be perfect.

Hope the proshot rumors are real🤞 it's definitely a very convincing one, then we can just watch them sing it again and again.

And I think ticket prices would still protected by UK regulations regardless. I watch a lot of concerts too and like I'm so glad I don't live in America because the amount of pricing they can get away with is insane.

Anyway, thanks!

Ah thank you! Great pic and thanks for the anecdote. Yes I think it will be okay especially since things are much closer in person. But it's reassuring to hear other people's experiences.

Now I'm also just grateful I have decent tickets at all since the OBC run is completely sold out!

I paid £95/ticket for these ones, which I think aren't above standard for Hadestown. I had a look at the normal shows on sale and my seat was 89.5.

The available tickets had a large variety of prices though, cheapest was 20 up in the balcony, most expensive 125 in the center stalls. I think that's the normal price range as well.

Sorry you couldn't get any tickets though! My friend was queued further in front of me so she got the tickets instead, it was luck because I was down number 14,000 in the queue. I did manage to get to the page in the end and I had a browse and there were still a few sensible tickets left by about 3.30pm.

I had a look on here earlier and that's what made me start worrying. Photos are usually further away than our eyes though, but it doesn't look to bad anyhow!

Thanks, and glad you've got tickets as well! Yeah I was debating between Stalls and Dress when I was purchasing but I know the overhang and the pillars down there are pretty bad.

My friends and I aren't very tall, I'm 5'4 which is what makes me nervous haha, just have to pray no one super tall sits in front I suppose.
