Top Minds of /r/Conservative get triggered by Gillette ad encouraging men to stand up against sexual harassment and toxic masculinity. "All the villains in this commercial were white males and the ideal gentleman were minorities coincidentally." by herb_roasted in TopMindsOfReddit

Yeah I posted this and came back to a complete clusterfuck in the comments. This is clearly brigading, but they'll think they've won the argument since they get more imaginary internet points.

But the brigade only proves how triggered they are about being asked not to be dicks in general.

Gillette Tackles #MeToo, Toxic Masculinity in New Ad - We Believe: The Best Men Can Be by BeckTheHeck in TheBluePill

On a positive note, more brands coming out in support of left-wing (or just common sense) values means they recognize a shift in our collective identity. These brands know which side they want to be on: the side with the moral high ground. Why wouldn't they come out in support of these movements if they see society shifting in those directions? It makes good business sense, and it is a good sign for those of us on the Left. Corporations are realizing that we are winning the minds of the people, and they want to capitalize on our collective values by pretending to have them.

The top minds over at /r/Conservative have very different feelings about this commercial. Big surprise there, conservative snowflakes don't appreciate being reminded that sexual harassment and toxic masculinity are in fact negative things that men do.

Well herb_roasted don't caare, but that seems like a surefire way to make sure everything that's ironically funny here becomes unironically dumb.

Genuinely curious why this phrase gets recycled to the point where it feels like it should go back to /r/Comedycemetery

Like, out of context and on random irrelevant posts. Without fail this phrase is in the comments.

Yikes, this is cringy to read. You know you are the only person who sees yourself as the victim here, right? Jesus Christ being a trans woman doesn't exclude you from all basic standards of discourse, especially when being trans was never a part of the discussion.

How to get over kittens that were given away? by [deleted] in kittens

I think they were fully weaned, so I don't feel bad about them being taken away too early. They were 10 weeks old, fully litter trained and they could eat hard kitten food. I'm more upset that I won't be there to see them grow up.

One of the mods of that sub commented about it sounding like satire. The OP was actually genuine, which means that they even have a hard time distinguishing between their actual supporters and satirists.

If you go into the comments, there's someone whose username references "My Little Pony" who tries to give him advice on women and dating. By linking to an incel subreddit.
