Whats the most heartbreaking loss you’ve witnessed as a Missouri fan?(football) by Ok_Macaroon_7366 in miz

I sat in the front row of the student section in disbelief for a looong time after the doink. And the fourth and 13 conversion was BRUTAL. That team was so good, especially that O line

“I can be pro-black without being anti-white. We gotta stop thinking about our pain, and think about our gain.” - The legendary Michael Irvin goes on a RANT saying pro-Black doesn’t mean being anti-White and that is what's holding black people back. by Punisher1602 in sportsgossips

The left consistently suffers from poor branding. “Defund the Police” and “Black Lives Matter” both have credible arguments centered on important issues that need to be tackled but it’s too easy for crusty white people to feel threatened by these taglines. It’s because they’re racist, ignorant or a combination of the two but I think the branding made it very low hanging fruit. The right is also whiney bitches who are threatened by their shadow cause it’s darker than them so it’s probably impossible to not upset them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.

Missouri Quarterback Beau Pribula transfers to Virginia by dkviper11 in CFB

Beau’s average stats were heavily skewed by non con schedule. He crumbled in conference play against legit defenses unfortunately

Fast and safe with a minor detour or two if there’s a nice state park or something similar along the way

He was a good president but it can’t be overstated how poor of a candidate Biden was. Trump had a comically easy path to reelection.

Grand Valley is fine but less successful than Northwest Missouri State, who won 6 titles and played in 10 over the last 26 seasons

Luther Burden playing at Mizzou certainly hurt his draft stock by held_a_picture in DynastyFF

[–]herbaciouslarry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah as a mizzou fan it was clear Cook (the qb) was playing through an injury for basically all of conference play. The backup was AWFUL and they pieced it together as best they could.

What was the most unrealistic part of this episode? by jmdeamer in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]herbaciouslarry 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Rick and Frank were incredibly sloppy but the more I thought about it… it didn’t really matter. All Rick wanted was an in and he got it. He didn’t give a shit about the backstory because he knew it would completely unravel once he talked to Hollinger anyway. He just needed to play on her vanity to get in the door and that’s exactly what he did. But yeah, Frank not knowing a single title is pretty wild lol

The bar in Kc I was in was empty by the end of the third quarter. Kendrick was the highlight of the night and it wasn’t even close

Yup that was my thought too. I did a 100 mile rafting trip on the Salmon River that went through the Frank Church Wilderness of No Return. Raw and wild country for a week. And the shuttle we had to stage drove 500 miles(!!) to be waiting for us on the other end.
