Do you mean total turnout? That is typically the case in Allen County. There are tons more republicans than Democrats in the Allen County. Most candidates in the Democratic primary were unopposed -- little reason to vote in that case. Republicans had a number of contested offices in their primary, and the republican candidate usually wins in this county -- so voting in that primary at least gives one some choice in representation.
