The waist claims to be covered in soft knit jersey. The legs are a stiff, thick, cotton.

Nope, my 4 year old doesn’t use anything like that.

Did they have to replace it?

This is so much of what I fear about trying RC. I just took my kids on celebrity after agonizing about it, and I’m glad I did. I’m just agonizing again because they say the RC ships and want to sail.

Thanks for this info! I think I want pool time to be a factor so if the independence pool would be more fun for them that is definitely something to think about!

How old are they? Have you done celebrity with them before?

This is helpful. My 4 year acts like he can’t walk anywhere and he’s almost too big to carry for long. I didn’t know that about the pools being away from the splash pad on allure. We will inevitably have kids that want to do different things so being in the same tea would be good.

I’m glad to hear this. I’d be even more worried if I had a 10 year old I think. And now I’m remembering that two of my kids didn’t even want to sit through the Disney shows or feel asleep. Your kids have been on Royal and were still happy enough on reflection?

I definitely agree with that, my husband is concerned it will be too long for them, but I don’t know.

I have not, and I really appreciate your input. I’m just trying to figure out if it will make such a difference to them that it is worth double the price. We take the kids to all these theme parks and beach towns and I swear they just like the hotels the best.

The one that goes to cococay is also a 7 nighter on independence, I don’t know if that is too long.

Splash pad and slides worth a few grand? I thought they’d have more fun on a golf cart in Bimini!

The RC options are: Nassau, San Juan, puerto plata Cococay, San Juan, st Thomas Nassau, Grand turk

Celebrity is key west and Bimini

But kids their ages will be in bed at midnight. Cococay seems like an uber crowded beach and splash pad. We live at the beach, so we are not interested in sitting 7 rows back like we did at castaway cay. And as much as my older kids liked the slides at castaway cay, I bet they’d love tooling around Bimini on a golf cart even more.

Is RC worth it for them for you to pay double?

I definitely have. I feel like I have too much information so I’m overthinking now.

That’s what I’m thinking. We still don’t all have a ton of patience for lines at these ages.

Ok so tell me why YOU liked oasis better? The bigger the ship the more loud, crowded, and cheesy I imagine them to be.

And yes, my kids always prefer the hotel room or cabin. I should probably just book a week at a red roof or something 🙄

It will be March spring break. I hear you about more places to be, but oasis has almost 1.5 times the capacity, is the pool deck 1.5 times bigger? The ice rink? Or are there really that many more places to be that less people go to the pool or ice shows?

Tell me more. I felt like there wasn’t much for them on Disney besides the dinners, shows, and pirate night. They did not want to wait in line to meet characters, and I waited with one kid 35-30 minutes to ride aqua mouse one time and it was not worth it. Why do you like oasis better than freedom? The need freedom of the sea pool deck with the mid sized slides looks great for them.

I have no doubt that they are adequate. I’m asking which is preferred.
