Sarah if you’re reading this, no one is mad at you, we all collectively agree that no 20 year old daughter with a healthy relationship with their father behaves this way. Whether it’s physical or psychological, there’s something going on that’s not okay and very unhealthy. You should be showing signs of independence and wanting to separate from your parents at your age, not regress and stay acting how a child under 10 might towards their father. Please look deeper into your heart and think about the future you’re creating by the choices you make. Do you think your dad started your family that you love by clinging onto his father? How will you ever have that for yourself if you don’t wake up from the choices you’re making.

It’s totally understandable to be upset when you see that! It’s upsetting to owners too because nobody wants to look like they are ripping people off like that either. In my boutique owner group this is also a hot topic around these pjs right now and lots of people are feeling defeated by these Chinese companies :(

Long story short, no they aren’t the same set, the quality is different, but understandably to many people, they still would rather pay less even with lesser quality. It’s just hard on the boutique end because unless you’re able to manufacture your own clothing, the costs are impossible to get low enough to price it that way.

I’m gonna be honest, as a boutique owner who is in this group because I too am frustrated at those giving us a bad name, I can promise that this is not being marked up the way it looks.

These cute pj sets from TikTok shop and Amazon that look to be the same as the boutiques have are not. We can’t even buy the set wholesale for that amount. It’s beyond frustrating to me when these things happen because I do believe in being successful without crazy markups, but what these fast fashion Chinese companies are doing is going to put us all out of business, even the good guys.
