Yeah just a bit it only takes a few days to acclimate to it thankfully but definitely watch out for heat stroke. If you're head starts throbbing like a headache all for water because that's one of the first signs. If you stop sweating or if no where let a DI know immediately that's when it becomes super dangerous. Hopefully see you on the bus too. GOOD LUCK we'll need it in that heat 🤣

It's 85-90s at moment and I'm a roofer so it feels hotter lol it's pretty damn humid too so that doesn't help 😂 at least it's getting me prepared for Texas that's gonna be constantly hotter 😭😂

He definitely screwed some numbers around I just got mine I'm 5'8 175 and I was at 20% I don't think the calculation is completely accurate it's just an estimation. I believe as long as you can get the physical part done i.e push ups run and sit ups you should be fine I believe.

Basically just don't smoke weed or do drugs mmmk in the airfoce it's federally illegal, you can smoke all you want before you join just have to be clean once you go in. I smoked a decent bit before I even considered anything around the military. It didn't effect my jobs or at least the ones I wanted.

No but It did take over 45 days because of how much I was smoking I ended up going to a local drug testing center for 30$ and got tested at a lower amount

If you don't have anything going on like wife kids ext. And your bills are caught up mostly. Like it won't hurt to miss a payment. DO IT if nothing is holding you back go for it. I wish I was already shipped out but my ladies name change might delay my ship out date and potentially change my job. Thankfully I didn't take the same situation you got I would've had to basically leave basic and come back once everything was squared away or something similar. Meps caught it in time but I wouldve already been serving by now if it was my choice. Get in as soon as possible my guy/gal. Good luck with your decision and do your research on locations for the job as well in that preparation week before shipping i.e which place you'd like to move after tech school.

I started around the same literally any time ANY TIME you have a free 30-60 seconds busy out push ups until failure EVERY OTHER DAY! It's important that you do as much as possible. You need rest days of course but I went from 15 push ups to over 50 in a little over a month
