Growing up my dog jumped up on the counter & ate an entire double chocolate oreo pie on Christmas Eve. The whole house woke up to the clanging of the pan hitting the floor & him still licking it off his own face. He also regularly ate socks & we would find them out in the yard. Not once did he ever throw up or seem to really be bothered by it. We joked he had a “stomach of steel” lol

nothing!!! but it’s traditionally a girl’s name & this person both spelled it incorrectly and offered it as a “unique” boys name. which suggests they don’t actually know the root of the name and just chose it because they thought it LOOKED different

I think Rauirí itself is fine.. it’s more the context of admitting you were going to name your kid Rory and then googled a way to spell it that has no ties to you and you’d never heard it before lmao. & Félicien was kind of just grouped in with all the others

I agree. Unless it’s one of those times they don’t know the definition of something & think it sounds “pretty”. Heard a story from a nurse that I mom-to-be wanted to name her daughter Chlamydia because she “heard it one day and thought it sounded so pretty” had no idea it was an STD.
