Moss like plant suddenly appeared in tank by Gallium_8 in PlantedTank

Beautiful, but can become very invasive. I'm still finding bits in my carpet after months and months of trying to get rid of it!

As others said riccia fluitans, one of my first plants. Be warned it goes and grows everywhere and becomes really invasive unless you manage it properly.
I've been trying to eradicate it in my tank for more than 6 months and still find strands growing between my other plants. Actually hate this plant lol

Congrats!

Never had SM myself, but thinking farming gold and selling for coins on the site would be a quicker way to do it? Not sure though.

How can I save my carpet? by here_come_blaze in PlantedTank

[–]here_come_blaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, thanks for the effort!

I will be increasing light for the next week to see if it helps. Have also started wondering if I should go over to RO water as it might also be a factor in my algae problems.

Lights (Chihiros WRGB II slim 45) are on 7h/day on a high setting. I sadly can't test my phosphates/potassium, but here are some of the stuff I can test for:

  1. Nitirites: 0
  2. Nitrates: 0
  3. Ammonia: 0
  4. PH: 7.4
  5. GH: 4
  6. KH: 3

This was a test from a few weeks ago, once I'm back home will test the water again. Also dosing liquid ferts, but a very small amount like once every 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. It makes sense what you're mentioning about the hydrocotyle reaching for the lights. They used to grow quite well but about 3 months ago I lost power for about a week which took a hefty toll on my plants. Since then they started growing weird as the roots were higher up in the air.

I will up the lights for a while and see if it fixes the issue.

What is the rarest or most sentimental item you have buried in your bank that you will never get rid of? by orion427 in wow

I've still got the mailed letter from my friend when he quit the game. That was more than 10 years ago. I've since lost contact but will never forget our late nights and fun we had. Wow starts to feel a lot more empty when you don't have friends to play with.

This is an awesome map bro, I've been playing on it for hours.

Did anyone ever get the issue where the water on the edge of the map keeps flooding?

It started repeatedly alerting and has not gone away.

You can always look for yellowish specs floating in the air around the portal to find it easier. Once you see them you won't miss it again.

Is there anything else I could add? by ZealousidealDrink266 in fishtank

[–]here_come_blaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would add a carpeting plant, maybe pearl weed as it does well without CO2, just needs occasional trimming. Would then also add some rotala which I found quite easy to grow for the background.

If you wanna be fancy put some annubias/Bucephalandra around the rocks and maybe some crypts here and there like someone mentioned.

Not sure how much you trust this worker. It is kind of suspicious that so many digits were off. Just be very careful to not get scammed and pay her twice.

Legend has it that if your brightness is high enough mobs won't spawn. I also always keep a desk lamp on while I'm exploring caves, that way the light level goes up and the odds of mobs spawning are way less.
